I was just watching Larrusa in the post game interview and what a classy guy. I've always been a fan, I wish Hawk hadn't of run him out of town.

The funniest thing is stuff that Jay writes can also be found here, yet we accept it from posters here. As soon as Jay's column is printed, Sox fans rush to rip it. Crying mommy, mommy, Jay is saying mean things to me. Personally if we start banning columnists and commentators, I suggest we also add Rush, Hannity, Savage, etc. They are GOP homers and hate the Dems. They should be banned from here also.

DAMN, my two favorite teams playing each other. My loyalties are always with the Sox, but I'd rather be beating up on any other NL team before the Astros.

If Frank's attitude was a great as his physical talents, IMHO, he'd already have had 500 HRs. It seemed that Spring Training wasn't complete without a Selfish Frank moment. Partly I believe it was rooted in how hard he worked and saw others working less and getting more. I love the big guy, it would be the second saddest day I've had as a fan, behind Fisk getting dumped, maybe even sadder.

I agree 100% with what he wrote. But there is a couple points he left out regarding self defense and guns. First off, the gun needs to be available, loaded, and ready to go quickly if case you are surprised by an intruder. No time to go somewhere else to get ammo, no complicated locks to be unlocked. For that reason, homes with children should think twice about the dangers of kids and guns vs. a possibility of a violent home invader. I respect the individuals right to make that decision. To me, I erred on the side of caution and did not count on a gun while my kids were much younger. I invested in a very good, home security system. The thought of a gun accident in my home was far worse than the possibility of a home invader. I do not believe our founding fathers could have envisioned the modern armies that we face. They also could not envision a modern grocery store and the livestock processing plants we have today. A firearm 200+ years ago provided food as well as protection, things that are not a necessity today. I am not an originalist in regards to the constitution.

Who is the whole ceremonial tossing of the baseball for? The fans to see someone famous, special, etc. The person who tosses the pitch? The players? What'sp with the whole thing anyways? It seems kind of silly to me.

I don't see the team repeating anyone who has already done it this post season.
