These things hit even harder after you have kids. I know of three couples who had to go overseas to adopt children because the system is so f***ed up and then you read crap like this. Makes me sick.

We routinly take physical items, scan them or take digital photos and use them on line. Most will feel it is fair use as long as it isn't for financial gain. Is the reverse ethical? If someone creates a digital image and someone else downloads it and produces a t-shirt, etc. and gives it away or at no profit is that ethical? As we become more and more a digital society and value digital over physical will the ethics involve change? To use a real world example. Baseball cards can be scanned and displayed on different sites that catalog issues or are a reference source for collectors. Cards are scanned and put on the sites without any ethical debate. If the card exists only digitally could a card manufacturer produce the card? Again at no profit to keep the analogy.

Are we certain Cito turned us down? I'm not so sure we would have disclosed that specific of information to a candidate who will probably be talking to other teams as well. How far? Have you seen Planes, Trains, and Automobiles? The stadium is literally less than 10 miles from the border. From where you are at it would probably be a trip over to Southbound 35 (good Pat Green tune) to 37 then south on 281. I can get to San Antonio in about 4 to 4.5 hours so that would be a good estimate. I'm thinking you could also pick up 77 South off of 59 and cross over in Kingsville to 281. I haven't made the trip to College Station directly from here. I've always had to go via. Houston. Is A&M going to slow down OU? In the same league are the Ice Bats in Austin, the Corpus Cristi Ice Rays both a little closer. The CC Ice Rays sell out almost every game. They are getting a lot of community support. The other post mentioned the only think black . . . There has been at least 1 black - Hawk. I forget his name.

By way of analogy, just a casual observation between the Big 10 and Big 12 when it comes to football. In a bacon and egg breakfast the chicken is interested but the pig is committed. Y'all think you're passionate about football in the Big 10, it's nothing like down here. I just saw a OU bumper sticker that read I Break For Animals EXCEPT LONGHORNS The driver may have meant it. The local High School football stadium here seats 7,500 people and they fill it for playoff games. People are scalping tickets. The network news leads with HS football. Interviews with the players, etc. A local sports radio station sends reporters to 19 high school games across the area every Friday night for live updates. They report injuries to the players. As my freshman son says "It's crazy" The big rivalries down here are (in general) the UT v. A&M and specific to football the UT v. OU It makes a Bears - Packers game seem like a family game of flag football. So y'all can poll this to death but the NCAA championship will return to it's rightful spot in the Big 12. We got pissed last year about Ohio State and actually had to take basketball serious to keep our sense macho intact.
