  1. The odd number games are always critical. There isn’t a problem until you lose a home game.
  2. I know many conservatives who are adamantly pro vaccination. All of the unvaccinated I know are conservative. I only include posters here I've met IRL.
  3. Nuclear waste is the Hitler of this discussion. When we can mitigate danger to others we allow people to choose. You don't have to wear your glasses, unless you're going to drive on public roads. You can choose to get drunk, but you can't drive. You don't have to wear shoes or shirt, unless you want to enter a store. I'm all for allowing people to choose to not get vaccinated, but you shouldn't be allowed in a public building or workplace.
  4. So was the Delta variant pre vaccination?
  5. Now I don't know what to believe. Everything I believed has been thrown in chaos. They were built on a bed of lies. I trusted you rabbit.

A Man Died From Rabies In Illinois. Here's Why That's So Unusual In The U.S. https://flip.it/x9prgB I'm certain there were perfectly valid reasons that he refused treatment.
  7. You convinced me. In fact, I will now agree with everything you say.
  8. Yep, you're the only one. Just as you like it.
  9. Correct, just like people wearing seatbelts never go to the hospital. When was the last time you heard of someone having polio? Shall we give people the chance to catch that again?
  10. I wonder if any of them visit doctors or they just have their barbers bleed them when sick. Let’s give people the chance to get polio and small pox again.

    2021 Catch-All

Small. Solid wood cabinets at the time were about $125. They have 14 cabinets plus about ten linear feet of countertop. Home Depot today has finished cabinets at about $150 now. (Not solid wood). A five foot section of quartz countertop at HomeDepot today is about $700. So $1,400 in countertops and another $1,600 in cabinets at today’s prices. Demo and reinstall would take two guys three days max. At $750 per day per employee another $4,500. $10,000 or so was a fair price. $18,000 was a joke. They expected to settle much lower but my parents are too timid to negotiate.
  12. But what is the fun in that? G7 *may* be a troll, but he’s our troll. Notice he never loses his cool. He stays in control no matter what is thrown at him. No one is better at ignoring facts, finding a hole, and slipping away.

    2021 Catch-All

No, she was too pissed off. This was pre Covid. I priced out the materials and it would have been about $4,000 plus labor. I believe Home Depot floated a price expecting resistance and got none. My parents kept AOL for nine years after switching to Comcast. My dad traded in a paid off car that would have wholesaled for $14,000 on a leased car and accepted $4,500 because he “didn’t know how leases work” and was happy with the payments they quoted. I can go on for hours how they’ve been taken by salespeople. I really wish I lived closer. I took my mother with when I was buying furniture for my first house and she couldn’t believe I asked for a discount off list price, free delivery and set up, etc. I saved almost $5,000 and thought I could have done better. When we walked out she was worried the salesperson was upset.
  14. He’s kept the thread going for days. Can they remove the vaccination?

    2021 Catch-All

Home Depot quoted my parents $18,000 for new kitchen cabinets and counter tops. After I did a couple calculations I told my mom she was getting ripped off. Long story short after she canceled the order the manager quoted $10,500.
  16. It makes it damn near impossible to close the coffin.
  17. But if we get vaccinated and wear a mask the Democrats win.
  18. Forget about modern medicine, let's bring back bleeding by barbers and leeches to cure disease.
  19. For anyone still waiting on more data. Last night I attended the visitation for the father of a former player. A formerly healthy fifty-two year old whose family was able to spend 35 days watching him slowly die from COVID. In memory, the rest of the family who weren’t already vaccinated, went and got vaccinated. I guess that was data enough for them.
  20. Sadly, to stop the spread, the most likely to spread it need treatment.
  21. I really wish “personal responsibility” had a different name. I see being responsible as getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, quarantining when appropriate, avoiding risky behaviors, etc. that’s being responsible.
  22. I want people being tested and quarantined as quickly as possible. Any barrier compromises that.
