  1. So you don’t want anyone to cross the picket line? Players, managers, front office, minor leaguers ?
  2. You mean like trading for the best relief pitcher in the NL? That should have been the kind of depth that wins.
  3. Batting line ups are also affected. Pitchers adjust to whose on deck. You’ll see different pitches. Admittedly it’s a minor issue overall in baseball compared to other team sports. One thing I noticed this year is the team never really peaked. Mostly due to injuries but there wasn’t that two or three week stretch where they really came together and hit a stride. I think they were still trying to find that in October and it hurt them.
  4. You just said six different in one week. At three different a week it’s less than 90 scheduled games together. Then toss in an injury or ten . . .
  5. Balanced against no chance to gel with a different player next to you each day.
  6. Agreed. Minor point, a segment of posters here like playing matchups, so they want line ups de jour. I prefer multiple starters resting on the same day instead of six different lineups each week with one starter resting each day of the week.
  7. There seems to be a consensus here that players do not want to play for him. I’m not certain that’s correct. I wonder if any fan base is ever happy with their manager or ownership. I’m worn out of being unhappy with our managers.
  8. Lots of people disliked Ozzie here even during 2005, especially every Sunday and the month of September.
  9. Will you take the opinion of posters on a message board that players don’t want to play for him?
  10. So your star players all publicly support the manager. Do you make a change? Throughout his career, guys seem to like to play for him. I guess I’m just tired of being unhappy with Sox managers going back to the quitter Ozzie days.
  11. So he plays his first mlb season without an injury? I'm thinking two injuries and 88 games.
  12. OK. I'll agree he might not be THAT fragile but if you were a Vegas oddsmaker where would you put the over under on the number of Nick starts in 2022? I think 100 would be an interesting point. I think I'd take the under no matter where he is playing.
  13. Exactly. I like the guy and enjoyed watching him play more than I liked the replacements we needed to send out there while he was hurt. But it's a crap shoot that he'll ever play 100 games.
  14. Lol. Yeah, carts were everywhere.
  15. Let's follow the logic. Tim said Renteria was great. I said Renteria was horrible. Tim says Larussa is great, I say he's horrible. I say Tim still doesn't know shit about managing. But hey, I get you agree with Tim. Tony isn't all horrible and perhaps there are a few guys Tony can manage well.
  16. A simple it's not my call instead of writing a love letter. It's like he actually likes playing for a Hall of Fame Manager.
  17. “For me, yeah, I want him to be back. But at the end of the day, my decision don't really matter,” Anderson said. “So I guess it all depends on what the front office thinks, but from my half, as far as speaking from a player's standpoint, for sure. I definitely want him in. “He did a great job with the way he managed and just being open. You know when we took the field, we were going to go out and play hard for him and give him everything we got.” Obviously Tim Anderson doesn't know shit about managing baseball or the White Sox. Trade him.
  18. We could help you out by suspending your account. ?
  19. It's just our bad luck. Like trading for the top relief pitcher in the NL who shits the bed the rest of the season.
  20. Whatever they do it will turn out wrong.
  21. Now they will get fat and lazy and not want to play in MLB. <------ sarcasm
  22. I just returned from a weekend at a Jellystone Resort with my six year old grandson. Wow, did we have a good time. The water park was first class, mini golf, Jump PIllow(tm), haunted trail, live band, pumpkin painting, costume contest . . . We stayed in our camper but most Jellystone's have cabins for rent. I forgot what a good Yogi and BooBoo imitation I can do lol
  23. I think most players want a manager that helps their career and lifetime earnings.

I’m looking at vinyl wrapping the lower rocker panels on my 2021 F150. It’s Oxford White and looks like I’m two magnet sign from having a lawn maintenance company.
