QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 09:42 AM) Then divorce her, don't take the d-bag way out and cheat. Guy says "I think we should see other people" Guy means "I've been seeing this other woman and I'm dumping you"

It's good to the ex-president (kinda NSFW)

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 10, 2009 -> 02:38 PM) It's good to be the ex-first lady: Where did they find the picture of Gage? -
I am less than 50% confident in winning the division and 2% on winning the wild card. So I voted no.

QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 05:37 AM) If you really want to get it to the buster ask him if he feels this way about Michael, why does he continue to support the Catholic Church? I don't think anyone is advocating treating the entire music industry in the same manner as Jackson. That would be the key difference between this and the Church. We also have had school districts, sports leagues, etc. tarnished by pedophiles, but to generalize seems wrong in my opinion.

QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 08:34 AM) On Gage's penis?!? ewwww. Yep, for Gage, that's a quality bump

Having lived through the rotating 5th starter years, I see a spot for him. You need to be 6 deep, if possible, and a couple of those will be veterans. A few years back we kept bringing guys up to pitch 3 innings and give up 10 runs. Man, those were just brutal outings.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 1, 2009 -> 06:30 PM) I didn't see this before Thank you. Dammit, I thought it was my funniest post of 2009.
-
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 1, 2009 -> 04:28 PM) Endurance will humble you. Anyone who thinks they are actually tough should read what those guys went through. Just finished it. Wow. And with the equipment of the day. Amazing. On to Longhorns by J. Frank Dobie.

of all the threads to get a 6-month bump.

QUOTE (Soxy @ Jul 1, 2009 -> 09:21 AM) Coleman is used to it. He also lost to Jesse "The Body" Ventura. Hey, I just realized, he's your Senator
-
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 09:35 PM) Are his posts somehow worse than the dick sucking and ass-raping being discussed in the SLAM thread? Those were addressed also. Most of the time, it isn't the post, it is the reaction to having stuff deleted, moved, edited that steps over the line.

UK memo reveals US plan to provoke an invasion of Iraq

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 07:32 PM) As much as I despised Bush as a President, I don't think he did either of those things. Torture or not torture has shades of gray, Bush's line was in a place not the same as me, but I think he was talked into it because he didn't have the balls to go against the hawks he chose to surround himself with. Cheney, who was more intimately involved in that end of things, MAYBE you talk about that. Maybe,. I agree. Plus, it is really hard to imagine our leadership as war criminals. I am not saying it could not happen, just saying it is hard to imagine. -
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 02:16 PM) Awesome site: http://thereifixedit.com/ awesome.

QUOTE (DanksFan @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 04:36 PM) Nice of you to edit my post with words like p****, b**** and douche bag. I'm sure you would have preferred if I used some actual derogatory words that I won't even say here. Grow some skin. Oh yeah and you missed one here dude. You are welcome. Saved you a suspension. You may not know this but we have adults and women who read these threads, people who log on while at work.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 22, 2009 -> 03:18 PM) While working at a pizza restaurant: "How big is your 16" pizza?" Even better, how many slices?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 03:59 PM) AH... Well, now it makes sense. So non-married women and gay men.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 03:55 PM) No I got it, I own the album (Joshua Tree I think), but also took the opportunity to clarify. IIRC the administration did talk quite a bit about those WMD prior to the war. -
QUOTE (DanksFan @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 02:55 PM) And I do reserve the right to call the players who don't want to play for Ozzie This post has been edited by the Soxtalk staff to remove objectionable material. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 03:52 PM) iirc, it was something his accountant should have caught but didn't. he was supposed to file returns in like 20 different states where he had earned money (on speaking gigs, etc.) over the span of a few years. AKA The Michael Jordan Tax.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 02:27 PM) That was never the prime motivation for the war, despite their claims otherwise. I guess the reference was too obscure. -
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 02:14 PM) Funny that he was all up in arms during the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal. Of course, he wasn't getting any until Clinton left Washington. It was like following Bartolo Colon through a buffet

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 03:30 PM) In that case, frankly, I have no issues with how former Senator Coleman handled himself in this election contest. His people may not have made the best arguments, but he had his day in court and is willing to accept the decision. That speaks better of him than I thought his actions would. I agree. It does suck to be him. He has to be banging his head into the wall saying "I lost to him??"
-
QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 30, 2009 -> 02:04 PM) He's good enough, he's smart enough, and doggonit, people like him.

Workin' the three-way governor, nicely played, and he even received his wife's permission. Wow. I like the toss in Church angle.
