  1. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 7, 2012 -> 04:41 AM) Just go outside. When drunk, I pee anywhere outside...sometimes in parking lots or on streets in plain site. You cant always do that, too many cops/people outside, etc. Europe is actually the worst for peeing outside, I had plenty of friends who got caught in cities like Amsterdam and got fined over 150 euro, It was actually cheaper to claim you were masturbating.
  2. ERA+ maybe? Wiki page

Just watched the season 3 episodes of East Bound and Down, terrible start to the season imo. Not sure if I can keep watching, and that's too bad because I love Kenny and Shane, but the rest of the show has sucked.
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 03:00 AM) I can't help but disagree here, unless I'm not 100% clear on what this phrase means. Hawk tells it like it is. There's a difference between being a homer and rooting for your team and being a puppet and saying what they want you to say. Hawks is very critical of guys when they struggle. Yes, he roots for them to get out of their slumps and help the team out, but he doesn't sugar coat things all the time. I think that's a common misconception. He's a broadcaster, he can't sit there and rip the organization that is writing his checks. But he sure as hell doesn't sit there and pretend all is well when the team isn't winning. His tip your cap excuse gets old. It's baseball so it happens, but he uses that line every single time, and the pats few years those outings have been wayyyy to common.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 12:42 AM) If you really want spoilers, there's news about a potentially huge storyline change but I won't be more specific than that. If you want to know, it can be googled. Can you just post it in spoilers here, thanks.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 5, 2012 -> 11:14 PM) It is a $10 dollar burger and fries. Total ripoff. If I wanted that, I'd go to a good sit down burger place. I have no idea who hyped Five Guys up but they were nuts. Yea I love how they always advertise quotes in the store of the "best $5 burger around," but really thats a burger without cheese, no fries, and no drink. But hey peanuts!!
  7. Shower pissing is fine in my book, as long as you don't purposefully piss on yourself. I just aim for the drain.
  8. I have at parties where the toilets dont work due to reasons Im sure you can think of, and the utility sink I don't really think counts.

QUOTE (G&T @ Mar 5, 2012 -> 04:35 PM) Chick-Fil-A is incredible. I only get it when we drive from NY to IL and I also wonder if it will be as good as I remember. It always is. Plus the staff is really nice. We have one in our Union at U of I, but I think it's rated as the worst one in the nation. I've never had it since the first time I saw a friend eating it the Waffle Fries had a very intense grey hue and he claimed it was some of the worst food he has ever had.

Great, we all know what's coming next. An episode of them arguing and sobbing at each other for Dale's death. No movement, no action, Carl gets grounded by Mom and Dad.
  11. I can't agree with this. We have seemingly said this like the past 3 seasons about AJ, and the market has just been cold on him. I think there was only 1 interested team in him last season, and even then we'd have to eat almost the whole contract. Teams shy away from AJ, not only because of his personality but because he tends to not even be an upgrade over backup catchers when defense is included and his salary for this season will be $6mm, which is a lot for a below average catcher.

QUOTE (Whitewashed in '05 @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 08:01 PM) Jimmy John's El Pollo Loco Both highly false statements. I can't stand Potbelly's, and comparing Popeyes to El Pollo is like comparing mashed potatoes to french fries, they can both be at the top of their game and even though they come from the same thing they aren't in the same category.

QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 06:57 PM) If you're in the neighborhood, we can make a soxtalk outing out of it. Maybe drag Ss2k5 out of his married cocoon. Sure, I drive right by it on my way to a family cottage near South Haven, so I could plan a trip out or from there easily.

Russell's Barbeque, great name great beef sandwiches.

QUOTE (Tex @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 05:35 PM) For Texas BBQ, single location places with pits that are 50+ years old are the way to go, but in a pinch, Rudy's is good for a chain. I thought 5 Guys was pretty good but we have a little neighborhood place Gonzalez Grocers that crushes them. The place only sells burgers, onion rings, and fries. Coke from cans. Wait 30 minutes when they are slow. Is Smashburger anywhere y'all? One just opened near my family house in Lake Zurich, and I see another chain called Meatheads here in Champaign. Haven't tried either.

QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 06:35 PM) Speaking of burgers... Redamak's is open for the summer as of March 1! Another gem, I have to go back there this summer.

QUOTE (G&T @ Mar 4, 2012 -> 05:23 PM) DiBellas. Oh YES! When I lived in Ann Arbor that was my favorite lunch spot. I would always get the Godfather on everything bread with hot peppers, spicy mustard, lettuce, tomato. And their chocolate chip cookies, amazing.
  18. Any tips for correcting a sleep schedule? I cant seem to go to sleep before 5am and wake up at like 1 or 2pm. Currently still awake at 745am, this is ridiculous. Of course I try to wake up earlier I just can't seem able too consistently....I just always revert back.
  19. Environment thread could work too, but this one is convenient:
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 3, 2012 -> 05:44 PM) 5 year, $25 million deal for Cameron Maybin (CF, SD). One option year at the end. Buys out 2 years of free agency. High risk/high reward deal there. This guy was a huge bust before last year, and though he still has a ton of potential he could easily revert back to his Marlins days.
  21. I need sleeeeeeeeeeep
  22. QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 05:27 PM) UNOFFICIAL b****ES.
  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 11:57 AM) @AaronGleeman: A.J. Burnett tried to lay down a bunt and instead broke his face Buster Olney ‏ @Buster_ESPN Terrible luck for A.J. Burnett; out with a broken orbital bone around his right eye. Jon Morosi ‏ @jonmorosi #Pirates holding off on announcing timetable for AJ Burnett's return until after surgery. Well that didn't last long.
  24. dear god tequila what are you doing to my head right now!?!?
  25. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 02:43 AM) Yeah, I mean Molina is a nice catcher but I can't believe how much he got.... i wouldn't have even been close to that. Seriously, I would probably go about 5/35, maybe 5/40, but that still seems to be a gross overpay unless he hits like he did last year (or maybe even have to be better) every single year of the contract.
