So many Sox fans at work walk by me and say crap about losses/how the team is swirling but man I just don't care that much anymore about losing streaks. It's baseball, every team will go through it. The great thing is we're still above .500, get on a mini hot streak or just play .500 ball until the deadline and you are just a move or two away from a WC. I just can't get worked up anymore about bad baseball in May/June.

BTW, I've thought about this more, but the whole commentary on Dany being a terrible ruler and becoming Aerys because of that just seems off to me. Martin has had a ton of great people in his books, but few good rulers and those tend to be more mythical than anything. Honestly, which rulers to this day haven't made greivous mistakes? Every single one of them have thus far, including Dany. It very well could end up with her becoming the mad queen but with all the terrible rulers in Martin's books I don't think that is really what he was going towards.

In the books, the Brotherhood becomes more of a roving gang so this fits their MO. I think this story leads to Clegane bowl and not LSH.

Coldhands/flashbacks were cool. The rest of the episode was a bit weak imo. The Dany part didn't really seem necessary to me.

Going to my brother's wedding tomorrow, which I'm not really looking forward too. Speaking of parents who do things you would never do, my dad will joke/prod waiters/waitresses or other service people all the time. He has no fear in mentioning how long it's taking for food to get to the table, or that it's the 2nd time he's had to ask for water or anything like that.
