  1. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 25, 2005 -> 02:29 PM) Oh s***.... someone.. how bad was that? Tie game. Konerko hurt..? What happened?
  2. QUOTE(knightni @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 09:33 PM) Adam Carolla That's who Brian thought it was.
  3. Here is the website I was talking about: Annual free credit report
  4. The cartilage has completely deteriorated in both knees as well as having arthritus, but never dislocated either of 'em.
  5. I received two free credit reports earlier this year - the link is at work or I would post it here.
  6. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) I wish i had they tooth they used in the commercial! Brain laughs his ass off at that commercial. I laugh at it, but when I hear it talk, all I can think of is "Death" from Family Guy lol.
  7. Brian and I were looking at a 1970s Mercury Villager (the only year it was made as a Cougar) a couple weeks ago. Damn, that thing was huge, but sweet. My parents had a 1978 Ford Fairmont station wagon that fit three kids and two parents very comfortably and wasn't all that huge (next to the Chevy Station wagon my parents had for a few months in the early 90s - some jackass stole it and stripped it). I think it was a 6 cylinder, but might have been 8.
  8. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 24, 2005 -> 04:16 PM) And due to lack of foresight, Greek was not one of the three languages chosen. LOL!!!!
  9. I don't think Chicago should be named in this lawsuit. The cause was too many people and a keg on a porch. One report I read was that there were 57 people and a keg on the porch (it could be incorrect in quantity, but either way there were too damned many people on that porch). Anyone with common sense knows a porch like that won't handle that load in a static situation much less a dynamic one. Anyhow, that is just my honest opinion.
  10. Congrats!!!!! Have a blast!!!!
  11. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 09:55 PM) That said, there are no better hot dogs than Vienna Beef Hot Dogs. Brain agrees with ya - he insists that there always be at least one in our fridge at any given time.
  12. I may only be turning 29 in a few months , but I can't take this feeling the pain of each loss anymore. It's been what, 88 years (don't know if my math is still with me) since this team won a WS and 46 years since they stepped foot into "The Game." I understand now why my mom (56 yrs old and a fan since birth) had to take a step back a few years ago. This s*** hurts too damned much and it gets infuriating after awhile as well.
  13. I'm pissed, but I hope it works out for the Sens. Maybe the Canes still have a chance to beat the Sens when Brian and I go see them play on our honeymoon!
  14. QUOTE(SnB @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 09:21 PM) why do i have a feeling the white sox are going to break my heart? Don't know, but I feel the same way.
  15. Is this the beginning of the end or will they turn it around?
  16. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 11:14 PM) IMO, this is not the best way to go about things. Talk to 97% of all 35+ year olds and most will tell you that they wish they made more out of their time in HS. I have absolutley no regrets about what I did in HS and I'm perfectly setup for my future. I know that when I hit 40 years old I'll look back at my HS experience and think of how great that time was and how I made the most of it. You can't gaurantee yourself "fun" after HS. To say that when you're done with school you'll start living is pretty dumb. I guess I must be in the other 3% and dumb. I busted ass in high school and college - I think I might have gone to a total of 2 parties in that time period. I am having the time of my life now. I said (while in HS and college) that I will have fun later and I'll be damned, that is just what I am doing. This method won't work for everyone, but to say someone is dumb because it is the method that does work for them is well, dumb.
  18. QUOTE(SnB @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 02:16 PM) I'm now able to get the "easy ones" off websoduki.com in about 10 minutes I tried out some of the puzzles at the SunTimes site and I swear the very easy took me longer than the medium lol! I think it just took me a little while to get used to the rules.
  19. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 11:53 AM) Why on earth would a paramedic tell anybody stories that would keep them from donating? Is she against it? I think she told him that just to get him going, no other reason (typical sibling stuff).

    Lunch Whistle

Fat free chicken on whole wheat with baked tortilla chips a handful (or two) of chopped celery and carrots and a 24 oz bottle of Diet Pepsi to wash it down.
  21. I am, but Brian isn't currently. His sister has told him too many tales (she is a Chicago Paramedic). I am working on him though - he is just about to sign his license.
