One thing you could do is sleep in. Unless I have baseball in the morning, I sleep in until about 11:00 or 12:00. The very earliest I'll probably ever wake up is like 10:00. Also....I'm assuming you have a PS2, since you always talk about GTA: Vice City....buy a few games and try them out. You are obviously loaded with cash($220 useless dollar? Money is NEVER useless). Get a variety of games....get a sports game, get a racing game, get an adventure/action game....and that should suit you for about 3 months atleast. I just bought an XBox(received it in the mail on Tuesday, hooked it up, didn't work, so I am sending it back to the guy and getting a new one....as soon as I get that, I'm gonna get WSB 2k3 off of eBay....and then I'll figure s*** out after that). That will suit me for atleast the summer. You can also call up a bunch of friends and either hang out play some hoops play some baseball meet up with some chicks or something else you'd like to do(like go to the beach) There is so much s*** to do during the summer....trust me, you can do a lot.

How can you NOT be negative during a stretch like this? 247....same here....or something like that.

An update on Loz.... I read in the recap that he just slept wrong, and his neck was stiff, and it was affecting his pitching. That's why he wasn't as sharp tonight. Not sharp? Since when was the last time our pitcher went 5 innings and only giving up 3 runs not being sharp? Hell, Judy Garland can be sharp and give up 6 runs in 4 innings....Rick White can be sharp and watch his ERA go higher then it already is. I wish all our pitchers were not very sharp like this more often(not wishing they are in pain, just wishing they'd be not sharp and have a solid outing like this....can you say Cy Young?)!

Like you needed another one? Also....my monkey agrees with you. I am very intelligent.

Bonds didn't beat the Sox. Technically, you are correct. However, I disagree. I just don't know how to put it into words.
-
You could second guess this whole f***ing game, and odds are, nothing would have worked the way we wanted it to. I personally feel that we should have actually walked Bonds, because he probably realized Colon was looking to get him to bounce into a DP, so Bonds looked down and in. That's where the pitch was, Bonds hammered it, and the game is essentially over. You walk Bonds, then you get to Santiago(or whoever it is), get him out however you can(whether it be getting him to GIDP, or popping up, flying out, striking out, etc), and you get the next guy(GIDP, or just getting him out), and then if you have to, the next guy. IMO, in that situation, you do not let Bonds beat you.

Anyone who still has an open slot left for

Asshat, I think you're the only who joined. Anyways, there weren't enough people in the league so I had to delete it. In the league you joined, I figured there would have to be, at the very least, 6 people to have it be any fun. In the other league, I was pretty sure there was no shot of it happening. Just to let you know -
No, they had the #1 pick overall and they drafted Mauer. I remember hearing about the Yankees drafting him. It would have sucked to have seen Prior on the Yankees.
-
I'd just like to mention something. Roman, did you see Bonds's homer on SportsCenter or ESPNews or something like that? Because from what I can tell, you didn't. Bart's pitch to Bonds was clocked at 97 MPH on the gun(not necessarily what it actually was, but give or take a few MPH, it was pretty damn close). Tired, huh?
-
Do you realize that even though we are f***ed now, how f***ed we would be had the Twins actually done something smart and drafted Mark Prior? I know there were signability problems, but if they signed him, and they traded Radke/Milton/Mays and Reed....their rotation right now would be f***ing sick. Prior, Santana, Lohse, Mays, Milton That 1-2-3 combo would rival the A's....and our friend Ken Rosenthal would be right, because I think the Twins would win the series....year after year after year after year.... Obviously, you can tell it's been a slow night

BMR....good luck in this s***. I agree that karma will play it out, and karma is good enough revenge. Revenge never solves anything, and is what bad people would do(hmm hmmmm, roman ), and we all know that bad people go to hell. It doesn't help that the Sox are playing s***ty either. You still have time to become a Twins fan!

What if your kids are girls? He's probably gonna name them Michael Raymond and James Clifford. That'd be my guess anyways.
-
I'll still take Wally Backman over all of the above(meaning Ron Kittle, since he's the only one that was mentioned)
-
I'm pretty sure you are the one who made the comparison to the Yankee series last year....fully agreed. I figure we'll go DEAD for the next two weeks or so.
-
lol wsf wasnt the fact we gave them parque enough to warrent a win????????? I thought Tanyon Sturtze was good enough, but apparently, they wanted a better pitcher. better ? or butter?? did we misunderstand and send sturtze down by accident???????........ Sturtze....2000? Or somewhere around there. I could have sworn we traded Tanyon Sturtze to Tampa for Tony G and Herbert Perry. Sturtze was s***ty for them, so they had to bring in a "better" pitcher that used to pitch for us.
-
I must have missed it then! Sorry for missing it!
-
Couldn't have said it better myself, so I won't try to. s*** happens. Deal with it.

Good. Glad I'm not the only one I'd really like to keep Colon and Loaiza....but I believe we actually only need to keep one of them. Trade the one we can get the most value for, and then make sure the other is with the White Sox next year. I'd get whatever the hell you could get for Konerko, and we can keep Thomas and Lee(which is fine by me). Trade everyone possible in the bullpen except Marte, trade Graffy, Rios....hell anyone we can get something for(however, I'd personally like to keep Dauber, or atleast resign him....but what the hell), aside from Maggs, Crede, Olivo, Harris, Buehrle, Garland, and Wright(who I'd personally like to eventually convert into a closer), and you can keep Thomas, Lee, and Jimenez as well(I don't like his attitude, but if he turns into a player like Roberto Alomar, and he could, he'd be worth keeping). Atleast I could be excited again.
-
Is that why you haven't said anything negative(such as him being a lawn ornament or calling him a dumbass) about Lee over the past what not amount of time?
-
Can we start the White Flag trades early this year?
-
And then f***ing Aurilia hit a f***ing granny. We're f***ed.
-
That wasn't nearly as far as the one he hit on Tuesday. Bonds is a stud. Bartolo won 3 of the battles, but Bonds won the war. It was supposed to be a rhetorical question, or whatever those questions are that you ask that aren't supposed to be answered. You know, like "Why did I just ram my car into that tree?" or something like that. Am I the only one NOT surprised that Bonds went deep in all 3 games? (that is a question you can answer)

f***in a.....I hate this s***. Are we f***ed or are we f***ed?
