No, I say f*** you both.... Actually, this is getting rather boring. I wonder what's coming up next...oh probably f*** you. If we had a vote on whether or not to delete this topic, I'd be all for it....this is getting out of hand and in reality is getting quite stupid.

My knees feel fine. Just so you all know.
-
Hey Jas, even you're getting in the f***s here and there....great job!
-
I believe this is his last year with uneligibilty for arbitration....they should really sign Buehrle to a contract before the offseason is over...around the $4 million range.
-
And the Koch trade could be good for either us or them...right now, I still think it is a wash. Dependant on how Cotts and what's-his-face do, and how Valentine does....I would have to think that Foulke is out of Oakland after this year(probably to SF...lol) and that Valentine will take over their closing duties...Koch will be with us for 3-years, Cotts will probably be a decent lefty for us in the future and what's-his-face could be a pretty good backup OF/pinch hitter. Hell, maybe he could be a starter for us....if Borchard is a pretty good CFer, Maggs remains in RF, Lee leaves, Liefer is traded, and they use what's-his-face over Rowand, he could start with us. Now if only I could remember his name
-
And is a great pinch hitter late...he is a .300 hitter off the bench. If I may say something brilliant here, I would like to.... It is hard to hit .300 as an everyday player...it is a whole hell of a lot harder to hit .300 as a bench player/pinch hitter.

I think you're closer than most would think. KW, being the egomaniac that he is, wants to prove to Sox fans that the Ritchie trade wasn't one of the worst trades in recent White Sox history. So, last year be damned, Toad Ritchie WILL have a spot on the rotation this season just so KW can get his ego in check. :o:o:o:o Killa, you didn't say 'f***.' :o:o:o:o

Jas...I could produce at the big league level. Doesn't mean it would be good production. I'll give Ritchie this...if he starts throwing the curve more often this next year, then he might put up decent numbers...maybe 10 or 12 wins with an ERA in the low to mid 4.00s...that is probably the best he will do though. I expect him to be about 10-10 with a 4.50 ERA or so. Those are good numbers....for a #4 pitcher...who makes $1.5 million. Not for a pitcher who will make $3 million or even more. But I gotta question to ask...why would they give Ritchie a raise after the year he had(5-16, 6.00+ ERA) and then take away from Buehrle's salary last year(took off the $15,000 he wanted)? Is it because Ritchie is one of KW's boys? If Buehrle doesn't make more money than Todd Ritchie next year, I think I am going to personally b****slap Kenny Williams.

He should get atleast 3 starts a week, maybe 4.

I know where I'd put Ritchie...on the free agent market, that's where.

Hey HSC, f*** you, I thought that f***ing piece of f*** history was quite f***ing cool, if you f***ing as me f***ing personally. f***, I sound like a f***ing 6th grader who is with his f***ing friends home a-f***ing-lone and we are just have a f***ing good-ass f***ing time.

When a hitter signs with the Pirates, you know it's offensive suicide....yeah, I'd say Pokey Reese is practically nothing...was he supposed to be a potential gold glover and lead-off guy, but then never panned out? Jeez, sounds kinda like Norberto Martin
-
Jim Bowden is a douchebag...let's leave it at that. I'm not sure even he knows what the hell he's doing.

So that means that if in bowling you get a strike, you can say I just f***ed? LOL Or in baseball, say someone strikes out, you can say they f*** out? LOL I think I read somewhere along the line that the origin of the people flipping other people off was originated in some type of battle between two groups of people...anyways, what the one group would do to the other is they would take the middle finger of the one group and pluck it off....the group that had been having their middle finger plucked off began sticking it up(much like this :****) and started yelling "Pluck you!" and then because yelling the Pl- part of it became clumsy, it just fell off and they started to say "f*** you!" whenever they did this: :**** So if you ever learn one thing from me, make sure it is that.

They may still want a good 2B prospect, but with them getting Felipe Lopez, they might be set at 2B for now...and Griffey in CF kind of gets in Harris's way there as well. Unless they think Barry Larkin is going to retire sometime in the future, like within the next year or two, then they have no need for Willie Harris...they could just draft a good college middle infielder and develop him and then when Larkin retires bring the middle infielder up...3 years is plenty of time to develop a college player. If they are looking to dump salary, I'd say probably Brian West and Dave Sanders, or something like that, would get him...then again, Cinci always has one of the better bullpens in the league...what they are looking for right now is starting pitching...and that is something we need too. Maybe Josh Stewart and Brian West would get him...but knowing the asshole Jim Bowden is, he'd probably request Corwin Malone...and if I were KW and Bowden asked me that, I'd say two magical words that seem to work so well in so many different situations.... f*** OFF

Well, this is just thrown out there for kicks and giggles, but apparently the A's are considering moving Terrence Long to LF...I really don't want to deal with Billy Beane again, but if they are considering moving Long to LF, then what the hell are we waiting for? He's a great CF, gold glove caliber, and he's very smart in the field(I remember he faked a catch in the outfield and Ellis Burks fell for it...Long got it and threw Burks out at the plate earlier this year). What would it take to get Long do you suppose? Jon Adkins? LOL

Probably....I think I was at that series...I remember there was a series that I went to that Ortiz went like 7 for 7 in 2000 against us... In fact, I just checked...he did. July 19th and the 20th of 2000(neat thing is I saw Mark Buehrle's first major league win! hehe)...he went 4 for 4 on the 19th and 3 for 3 on the 20th. July 19th, 2000 July 20th, 2000 Regardless, I don't know if I want him...he's fat, he strikes out too much and he's bad defensively. God, that sounds like Frank Thomas of 2002....sad.

Not the Tribe...I'm thinking it will probably be like the Royals or Tigers....and then they win the f***ing AL Central... Anyone but the Twins or Indians, and I'm happy!
-
The team hasn't though...just because he had a rough first year doesn't mean the organization has given up on him...we as fans would rather give up Wright than Garland, and you can tell why...age, talent, etc...the only thing Wright has on Garland is stamina, and that is a little factor when it comes to age and talent.
-
Baggs....teams are backing off because Mendoza has said he wants to start...he is untouchable when his sinker is working...when it's not....well, you know the drill. Anyways, he was used primarily out of the bullpen by the Yanks, and that is one of the reasons he probably isn't being wanted...I'm not sure about arm problems though...I'd still take a shot.

I don't trust him with the blockbuster deal...there is no point...the best blockbuster deal he got us was Sirotka for Wells...and we know how that all turned out. However, when it comes to picking up a guy like Damaso Marte or a D'Angelo Jimenez, I will trust him...if we have to trade away high priced guys at the deadline, I trust him to get us something decent in return(most of the time anyways...goddamn Jon Adkins)...he's got a good talent in judging young talent....Diaz could turn into something big, Fransisco Franklin or whatever the hell his name is from Boston could be a decent reliever someday, as could Pacheco or Adkins, but I highly, highly doubt that. I wish we could have a dual GM type thing...where we have one GM setup the big trades, and have one(KW) do the trading of good, high-priced players for prospects(unless it involves Billy Beane...get the f*** out of the way of Billy). Like for instance, I want to have Antonio Osuna's ass out of town, and KW would be the perfect guy to trade him. Trade him for a decent prospect, and you got yourself a winning trade, IMO. But if we want to do the blockbuster deal, to, say, get Bartolo Colon, then I am going to want a better GM doing that...with KW's approval first(of course not...we'd just say that though).
-
I wouldn't say we got absolutely nothing for Baldwin...we got the butt of jokes for years to come! That damn Barry-Berry fiasco....I think KW will get a GM big-time with a Carlos Lee deal....he will deal, say, Carlos Lee and Corwin Malone for, oh say, Odalis Perez...and that Carlos Lee will be the Carlos Lee in high-A ball! Probably not, but could you imagine a deal like that? LMAO!
-
I liked your post, Soxbadger, until about the 3rd to last line...something along the lines of "then the Sox can pick up David Ortiz to play 1B." That would be the worst possible move on the planet at this point in time...he is a very streaky player who is a strike outmachine when cold...not only that, but he is not good with the leather, and Thomas would be better a option, because then we could move Lee to DH and have someone else play LF, say maybe a free agent brought in to play LF, or something to the extent. We'll figure out something...maybe Beane wants to screw KW over again and we can get Terrence Long...he'd be a great CFer, provides some pop from the left-side of the plate and would help fill out our OF problem....hell, they're considering moving Long to LF...the f*** are they doing that for? The guy is a gold-glove caliber CFer with a good arm...I'll take him.
