My initial thoughts during the fight was "get the f*** out of there" and when Yost approached Sale, I figured that's what he was saying to him. Yost may be a manager trying to get into the head of the opposing team's pitcher, but he's still a fan of the game. Then I saw the Yordano Ventura thing, and then I had to start talking s*** to my Kansas City friend (which was in a group chat). He said Sale started it by throwing at Moustakas. I calmly explined that he threw a slider at him that he let go early, which did hit him in the face, but he never had that intention consdering it was TIED AND LATE. So, yeah, no, he still said it was the White Sox, because Sale is a simpleton who can't control his fastball (28th month qualified starters with a 2.02 BB/9 last year, though I remembered it being better, so maybe that wasn't this year? I don't care). So I asked him if he was high. He said he was not. He is an inteligent person. This is the general population of the Royals fans, folks. Or atleast, that's the intelligence of a bandwagon fan.

I have been absent from the board for some time due to a career change that allows me considerably less time by a computer. All the same, I'm still doing what I can do follow the Sox. That said, forget about opening day. The Royals had to win, right? Home opener after a World Series appearance, the Sox let them win. It is ok. There are still 161 more games, and I think they will win 154 of them. As follows: -they lose 2 to Detroit because they'll catch them when they are strong -they'll lose 1 to Cleveland because they have a pretty good team they'll lose one to the Cubs out of sympathy -- they'll lose 1 to the Astros because they're a solid-ads sabermetric team -they'll lose 2 to the Twins because goddammit the Twins will find a way and I hate them and so that's why There, it's outlined. Go do it boyzzz.

He has been a good player every year of his Cincinnati Reds' career, and last year was no different, so criticizing him, among the plethora of holes they have throughout that team, seems to be picking on someone who deserves not to be picked on other than the fact that he has a bit of a b**** of a contract (because the likelihood of him living up to $39 million over the next 3 years seems to be dim given that he's 34 in June and at some point, he has to stop playing great defense and hitting for good power). Brandon Phillips is a good player. Please (whatever the hell publication that was), don't pick on Brandon Phillips.
