  1. Especially a steady diet of sliders off the plate. We should be thankful Perez and Garver aren't still on the Twins this season. Small ball attack. 3/6 hits on the changeup now.
  2. Pollock up to .241. Wonder if he has a positive fWAR yet...probably getting closer. Only second earned run all season for Perez on the road in 30+ IP. Make that three now. Robert singles attack.
  3. They would never send him below AA to do that...
  4. Rangers are really good at hitting changeups. Slider instead. Two outs. Rangers 1 for their last 22 RISP. 5 k's and one pop up.
  5. Can't survive putting this many runners on base. 7th in Cy Young for those 2019-20 seasons but not quite the same pitcher for 1 1/2 seasons now.
  6. That didn't or doesn't stop them from playing Grandal Harrison or Leury.
  7. Sure. The bat didn't leave his shoulders.
  8. Perez is pissed...glaring at HP umpire walking off.
  9. Sigh. Rangers' dugout pressuring young umpire in only his 56th big league game. Struggles with bases loaded this season are historically horrific.
  10. Perez 1 earned run in 29 road innings. That on a WP in Oakland.
  11. Is that 9 or 10 infield hits now? Sheesh. Moncada Time.
  12. Getting behind in the count with every hitter. Tough strike zone. #2 against Burger a ball though. Should be 3-0. On a 10/20 streak of hitting.
  13. Well we do have the highest MLB team average and OPS against LHP. Maybe that helps, lol. Sox 29/31 Robert 10/11 on steal attpts.
  14. Go Go Go Robert...only 3 stolen bases against Perez.
  15. Vaughn up to .296. Does he at least have a positive fWAR now?
  16. You must be an oppo political research operative, lol. Perez amazingly has nine consecutive quality starts.
  17. It might as well be with the Twins' sacrificial starter.
  18. Gonzalez. Their #10 starter. No golfing background.
  19. 3 consecutive strikeouts on 92-93 mph fastballs. Statistically Heim their best hitter. Rays already up 3-0 over Minny, too.
  20. 91-93 FB range first inning. Shocking another stolen base surrendered with Grandal. Perfect location down and away.
  21. Rangers 1 for their last 19 with RISP. Once again Vaughn shouldn't be in LF.
  22. Of you mean by winning the World Series this year and final retirement, maybe!
  23. If they keep winning, he definitely won’t be giving up his job. Regardless of who is “advising” on the daily lineup cards.
  24. Ramos isn’t as highly rated because he can’t play a premium position. At third, you either have to field exceptionally well or have plus power. He has neither. He projects more as a complementary player like an Urshela or Arraez. If he can play second base, that would be much more exciting. LF, 1B or DH, negligible value. Colson also hits left handed…has big time power potential, and the better arm. More fluid and better defensive instincts. Softer hands.
  25. The odds of Jimenez sticking in the outfield without getting hurt or harming others…slim and none. Remember last year he never really got locked in for a prolonged stretch in the entire second half, never really seemed comfortable or dangerous at the plate like past years. Lynn is up against it with his conditioning and coming back mid year. Think of all the veteran FA’s who signed in June after QO dates expired and just never got untracked. Lynn has to be throwing mid 90’s to be effective. TA7 is obvious key. And what dud your Twins’ friend say about your opinion? Agreed or disagreed?
