Eloy rehab starts again 6/21
Don’t count on it.

Eloy rehab starts again 6/21
Probably hurt deboarding the bus or during the ride to Buffalo? Carrying luggage?

The Jarred Kelenic Appreciation Thread
But can he get over that mental block now? Seems Lewis is out again with Trammell back. So another opportunity might need his last extended look in SEA.

Retooling / quasi-rebuild
They never even gave Luis Gonzalez a real look. He goes to SF suddenly an everyday corner OFer. The exact positions we have been struggling just to get just below average but not cataclysmic ally bad D. We brought in Goodwin Hamilton Nick Williams, never a thought to our own guy.

Montas gets Sox speculation
Greinke is not the answer to anything.
-
Retooling / quasi-rebuild
When does he ever get blamed when only 15-20% of his moves actually work out in the real world? A really good GM needs to be at 55-60% success.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
Let 'em have it, Stone Pony.

Retooling / quasi-rebuild
2024 club option includes a $15M buyout (deferred over 10 years) Didn’t even realize this until now…always thought it was just three years. Sigh.

Retooling / quasi-rebuild
https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/34020829/nba-finals-2022-grueling-expensive-risky-reconstruction-golden-state-warriors There’s a lot of inspiration here for the Sox….unfortunately we don’t have a Kerr, the remains of a championship core with five years of recorded brilliance, GM Myers, Curry’s willingness to tolerate losing with a bigger vision in mind, massive fanbase and goodwill earned, etc. But reconstruction might be the best possible term for what is needed…bottoming out over a two year period and rebounding to championship level quickly. Where are our own versions of Jordan Poole, James Wiseman, Kuminga and Wiggins, lol?

He’s ouchy right now.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
I couldn’t find any easy Twitter embeds making fun of the Cuban Connection falling apart. Just got a Cubano sandwich food truck.

Who Would Buy The White Sox?
Answer: SoxTalk moderating team will be the new ownership group.

Retooling / quasi-rebuild
At least TLR Hahn Hostetler not making any of the key personnel decisions…

Retooling / quasi-rebuild
Hendriks and Bummer…try to throw Kelly into mix if he ever returns in time.

https://mobile.twitter.com/CubanConnectBR/status/435314366049550338 The Cuban Connection @CubanConnectBR How are you? The answer is “not good.”

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
Ozzie would make them play the Bisons AAA team after a series humiliation like that…

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
Seems a better plan for football or hockey.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
Shot at an MLB pension like his dad? Lineup has six black holes and Pollock on the bench after recent string? Yikes. Might as well be Mariners’ supporters (minus Kelenic fandom).

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
And punting another “free” $1 million in draft money to allocate when Rodon rejected the QO…

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
Plus the likelihood of a lead tmrw night against McClanahan starting VV…on the road, not exactly robust odds he will get into that one either.

You can have #2 NL team lol.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
McGuire retains DH spot due to one hit and just barely over 200. .202. Sheets .203.

I usually draw the line at same league although did make a notable exception for Royals since lived there a decade and Sox were terrible then so didn't really matter.
