Hard to get Yermin in there tomorrow if Collins/Grandal are both playing... Also, Leury and Madrigal...please go away, especially Garcia. He's making me actually want Mendick back. That said, he's one of the streakiest hitters there is, eventually he'll come out of it, and he can play the most positions of anyone on the team, including SS.

We're pretty fortunate we don't have to face the NL East/West this year. Then again, the Rockies/DBacks/Giants are pretty crappy as well.

Kip Wells was really good his first season and went the wrong direction before the trade...but the late 90's were a wasteland. Wasn't the other guy Snyder...? Looked it up, Sirotka (very good before injury) and the unforgettable Jaime Navarro. Wells had just 7 starts in 1999 with an ERA of 4ish.

754 OPS and one bonehead defensive play (miscommunication, we'll be generous) still adds up to a 4+ fWAR.

I'm taking it that Giolito's velocity has been 92-94, maybe a few 95's for most of the game? Feels like 2-3 years ago monitoring his velocity so closely. At least we know he had the mid to high 90's stuff last time out...there's that.
