  1. Jace Fry wetting the bed in the early going in 2020.
  2. Almost GREAT play by Robert if he could have kept throw on the 1B side of the bag.
  3. Lopez doesn't have the much higher salary that Rodon would be at...I would be shocked if they don't keep him around at least one more year.
  4. Cutting and slashing. PTAC called the control issue and mechanical ones as soon as he started pitching for us, if not when he was drafted out of NC State...if only we'd taken Trea Turner instead.
  5. Great catch by Pina....98 MPH and tailing high. Would pull off most layman's shoulders, lol.
  6. Brewers trading Trent Grisham looking like a terrible move so far for that organization. Urias is never going to hit well enough at big league level.
  7. 14 balls put into play by Sox batters today...opposite of normal Sox Corpsball.
  8. Great at-bat by Luis Robert, especially laying off the slider for Ball 3.
  9. Bring up WANDER. Adell's getting called up in LA.
  10. You sure CANCEL'D MLB and Manfred right there.
  11. Anyone who doesn't believe in Covid-19, I'll buy you a ticket for Wuhan. If too scared of the mainland, you can try HK, Taiwan or even Vietnam. Any takers?
  12. This is worse than me comparing Yasiel Puig to Roberto Clemente in 2013-2015 and arguing he could be just as good in CF, lol.
  13. Those contracts were already set in stone years if not almost a decade ago, like the Dodgers' massive contract worth something like $2.5 billion. The Marquee Network was picked up right before the season, should Cubs' fans have boycotted? They would have missed out of a 7-2 start to the season under a new manager.
  14. Leury has turned out to be one of the better under the radar moves of the last decade...along with the extension. We would be totally screwed without him, because Mendick's not an everyday big league SS.
  15. Or it could simply be that trying to THROW 95-103 MPH cheese wasn't meant for the human elbow/shoulder to be a long-lasting proposition...
  16. It's not fair to ask Dunning or Steiver to jump in that role. They'll find SOMEONE. Likely will be Detwiler, I would guess they would even use that Anderson kid they got from the Phillies before last season who's mostly a bullpen guy. Yelich snapped an 0 for 19 skid, btw.
  17. Do not let Keston Hiura or Yelich beat you. That's all you need to know about their line-up.
  18. We are in trouble with Corbin Burnes. One of their flamethrowers for the middle of the game.
  19. "Rodon was throwing the baseball pretty well." Crap analysis there Brewers' crew. Need Bob Eucker. Efficient? Okay. Logan Morrison already subbed into for Ryon Healy. Short game, haha.
  20. McCann has looked out of sorts so far in this one...well, who can we call up? Any random pitchers in Brazil like Andre Rienzo? Korea or Japan? I guess they're both in midseason, and pitchers from those countries would be insane to come to the US comparing the Covid-19 situations and uncertainty about completing this year.
  21. That could be read in quite a different way, lol...
  22. Anyone want to make a bet that Ross Detwiler goes into the starting rotation? Dunning without much time in the minors to rediscover his command is just like a lamb to slaughter. It's fine to have him in the bullpen, but not pressuring him with a starting role, especially after what happened to Lambert. Throw in YERMIN in the trade bait roster depth list.
  23. They've got to look at packaging Sheets, Collins (maybe), Gonzalez/Adolfo/Rutherford/Basabe. We desperately need starting pitching depth.
