Harpchado Show on MLB Network would be cancelled by now for lack of interest. That and the fact that regionally, Phillies and White Sox fans aren't exactly going to lead to robust ratings, compared to the Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs and Red Sox being hyper involved.

Grandal for one year was never going to make sense to the White Sox in the same way it has for Milwaukee, who are attempting to maximize their chances to win the NL Central on a yearly basis (kind of the way the White Sox used to operate in the 2000-2009 time frame.) Not to mention this buys Collins and Zavala another year to prove themselves defensively. To sign him for 3-4 years when their competitive window might not even begin until 2 years from now...especially for catchers who have an expedited aging curve, well, it just was not a good move for the Sox.

You can argue on behalf of Hereditary all you want, but to put down McCarthy (and I don't even like her that much, even though many do enjoy movies like Bridesmaids and The Heat) in this particular case isn't warranted. It's also not like you can even say they picked the "prettier/Hollywood ingenue" actress in this case. As far as Black Panther goes...it was one of the most entertaining/mainstream movies of the year, and the Academy Awards can't draw an audience if they're completely immersed in award films like The Artist or Roma. They have to select some more popular fare, one of the most obvious examples of this was District 9.

My three year old son really enjoyed that Fly Across America ride at MOM...it’s not so cheap for the amount of time you actually spend, but still worth it. And the huge Lego store. Thectheatres were also really nice, good selection of higher priced (but better quality) concession items.

The last movie even similar to Hereditary to get Oscar praise was probably The Hours, and even that’s not a close approximation. Rom com and horror and most sci fi just don’t usually end up contending, that’s just the way it has always been. Have to go back to 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Madrigal haters won’t be happy, and the AFL showing was not enough to save Robert from falling a bit. Dylan Cease though...en fuego. And only one White Sox draft pick listed though. That’s a bit of a disappointment.
