Renteria is trying to inculcate a team concept, right or wrong. Similarly, there was a lengthy debate on the Score today saying not even Lopez should come up this year to be around a losing atmosphere...so two sides to every coin. Personally, I believe Lopez, Giolito and Fulmer would all benefit from being around Cooper. I also believe they (the young starters) SHOULD have strong enough constitutions to weather the bullpen blowing most of the leads they do get.

Well, at least Moncada hasn't struck out. No errors. Bunting is more understandable hitting RH against Alexander. The hits will come eventually if he keeps making solid contact.

And Happ's defense is holding down his (future) projections, not unlike Schwarber.

I feel you. Will be flying over the Pacific Ocean/Alaska/Russia on the way to South Korea when the trade deadline officially hits. Fortunately, all the big trades have been made by the Sox. Just Swarzak and Cabrera, maybe maybe Avi to go....one of their utility infielders, and potentially MiGo, Pelfrey or Holland I guess.

Some movies just get you. Field of Dreams, for similar reasons, the scene with Ray's father back to his younger days playing catch near the end. Up! Gladiator, the scene where Maximus turns around in the Colosseum and takes off his mask and stares down Commodus. Beauty and the Beast Hachi: A Dog's Tale (anyone with a dog, no way to watch that without getting emotional, much moreso than Marley & Me)
