The worst part of not having a closer or really needing one is surrender ing all those late leads. That just gets to be totally demoralizing. Especially with most Central teams GL having pretty excellent pens, like all the playoff intra-divisional teams last year.

Now we really don't need Josh Rojas with Workman also on the roster. You've got Ramos, Baldwin (utility), Meidroth, Sosa, Vargas...very crowded infield (six, including Workman), but someone pretty much HAS to emerge and be at least above replacement level. Hopefully/theoretically. Baldwin, right now, looks really good...but he's not an everyday big league SS defensively, at least not yet.
