What's hard to fathom is how Sheets and Maldonado (sure it's early) can suddenly be meaningful contributors on what on paper at least is the best team in baseball for the moment. The only CF on the minor league map is Braden Montgomery, and he's ideally ticketed for RF because of his plus arm and range being just average or a tick below for center (that is, unless you trust "fixing" Greg Jones). Unless they're totally desperate to dump salary (sad, in and of itself), then they have to get de Paula back. Hope is more of a LF imo, although he can play CF as well.
