The next seven series are against teams better than the Sox or expected by the majority of prognosticators to be better. The let up after all that is at Cincy, and even the Reds can be extremely dangerous at home. 15-18 coming out of April is looking like it's going to be an uphill battle at the moment. Yeah looking back it's incredible the 1989 team was so poorly attended when it was the most interesting and exciting collection of talent in my lifetime and almost took down the A's. 1990 was the new park...and someone like Sax or Cory Snyder that inevitably disappointed. Well the only argument there is those players succeeding shows they are undervalued/developed by the Sox. But kinda the opposite of when all the Yankees and Dodgers prospects back in the day got so much press but almost never turned into anything. But were invaluable trade commodities for finishing pieces.
