  1. Yeah, his third leg
  2. Also, you can go to college at any time. This is a once in a lifetime situation that may never come again.
  3. I want them to go BPA as well, and like I said I do appreciate the pick. You're right, its very complicated because I don't trust them at all to be able to 1.) Develop this kid and 2.) be worth a shit if/when he does make it to the majors. At least if they had taken one of those LH college bats we would hopefully see them making an impact in the next year or two and assisting this window.
  4. It will be interesting to see what it takes to make this happen. His contract he is going to get really eliminates a lot of teams.
  5. I agree with this. While I really do appreciate the White Sox going with massive upside high school talent, a player like Drew Gilbert, Sterlin Thompson, or Dylan Beavers offered left handed offensive non DH potential that this team is sorely lacking. With our window now and hopefully the next few years that would have been way more beneficial than a HS arm that may be ready when all of our current players price themselves onto other teams.
  6. Not a fan, no faith in developing this kid i would have preferred a Tennessee bat, that fits our window better
  7. I get the point you're trying to make, but a .287/.333/.425 slash from your back up catcher, hell even your starting catcher, is pretty damn good.
  8. “Oh my, that ball was escorted off of the premises! Luis Robert absolutely molly womped that ball, score a run!”
  9. Its 9-1, we’re not hitting extra bases take a seat kid
  10. Man how was that not called a strike
  11. Just said 32 in the last 29 games, but don’t ask soxtalk about him because he “sucks”
  12. Good god, 99% of people from Chicago are so tough to look at.
  13. This loser is hitting .207 but Benetti thinks he’s one of the stars of the game
  14. That close up shot made it look like at worst, not enough evidence to overturn. Makes sense there was no challenge.
  15. Yep, no chance they don’t challenge that without knowing he didn’t touch the plate
  16. And to think, we debated putting this man to pasture.
  17. That is the only person he needs in his corner though. The rest is pointless.
  18. The White Sox most likely will not be swept, the most likely scenario is they remain 4-5 back heading into the break and nothing will be changed unfortunately. The White Sox and Angels remain the only teams in MLB that were expected to contend for the playoffs but have negative run differential. Every other negative team in baseball was expected to be bad. The White Sox are 5-6 in their current 19 game stretch against central teams. They still have 4 games remaining against the Twins and Guardians each. They lost 2/3 to the Twins and split with the Tigers and Guardians losing no ground but also gaining no ground. Back to bullet point 1, no changes will be coming. Coming out of the break they host Cleveland for 4 games and then its 19 straight games against the Rockies, Athletics, Royals, Rangers, and Tigers. If this team is going to snap out of it, this is where its going to happen.
  19. Doubtful, he was #4 in ROY voting in 2019 and then won a Silver Slugger in 2020. He had all the signs of an offensive force before cratering to what he is today.
  20. Lopez has been aces since 2021, its not just this year. 98.2 IP - 77 Hits - 10 HR (NONE in 2022) - 21 BB - 99 K
