For the record, we were down 5 and looked like shit against Berrios, who appeared to be on his game tonight. Berrios is at 100 pitches after 6. We have 3 innings against their pen, who is likely without a key piece Romo. We have a stacked line-up that has proven to play well 7th inning and on. So what does fucking Sleepy do? Bring in goddamn Cordero for the, what, 6th time in 6 or 7 days? And, as we all knew would happen, Cordero officially puts the game out of reach. Ricky needs to go before the open of the 2021 season.

New fields, new hitters, new lighting, general nerves/anxiety as a new guy...you name it, he's still adjusting.

He graded out at 60 on both fielding and running....by people who scouted him extensively. He's played in, what, 10-15 ML games? A little early for "very overrated", imo.

This one, yet again, you could pin on Ricky without much of a stretch. Absolutely no reason to bring a struggling Cordero into a 1 run game in the 6th. His ERA is now over 5 with a WHIP nearing 1.5. Blatant mismanagement, again. oh, and Ricky...don’t think we didn’t notice you had your boy Yolmer on deck behind Mazara.

We’re just starting to catch glimpses of what Robert is going to become. He talked about “slumping”, which we all recognized, to an extent. Now? 3 barrels and a GWHR yesterday. A dong and two critical RBI today. This dude is about to take the baseball world by storm.

I respectfully disagree. I get where you’re coming from but when a run is needed, I liked Dyson there. Yolmer is no threat to steal.

I think this boosts confidence within the ranks of our roster that the FO trusts them and wants to see what they can accomplish. Super glad they stood pat.

The swings we were seeing by DET and KC hitters, coupled with his control, screams #2, possibly a very strong #3 on a loaded staff. I haven't been that impressed by a couple of rookie starts in a very long time.

I've never claimed to be some miLB expert. I know the Padres and Sox both have solid systems. I'd imagine the talents of 7,9, and 11 are fairly similar between the two systems. If not, instead of getting on my ass, how about you experts offer up what you think the Sox equivalent would be?
