  1. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Aug 21, 2013 -> 06:28 PM) We can only hope he turns into something worthwhile and not an enigma. He'll be fine. Sophomore slump. Turn around in 2014. Breakout in '15. Book it.
  2. Yea... Dayan sure sucks alright.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 18, 2013 -> 05:51 PM) (Cough). Here's a chance to reply for your 5000th. Not reply to... but illicit! We're both quite the Sox nerds... but really... 90k? How?
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 18, 2013 -> 05:27 PM) What are we getting if we trade Danks? I'm not trading him if it requires picking up a substantial amount of money. If we trade one of the lefties, that leaves us set with Sale, 2 lefties, Rienzo, and (Erik) Johnson. That's a promising rotation but it definitely is young, inexperienced. Adding in someone like (the other) Johnson to be a bullpen guy or 6th starter would be a necessary step to give some security with that rotation. I'm not speculating on a Danks return. Just throwing Josh Johnson's name out there. BTW: How the heck did you amass 90k posts since 05. Do you post as much as you breath or something?
  5. What do you guys think about trading Danks and taking a flyer on Josh Johnson for a 1 year to see if we could turn him around?
  6. We are winning too often. Stop it please, white sox.
  7. QUOTE (mike89128 @ Aug 14, 2013 -> 01:52 PM) Yeah just like the 2009 draft. We take Jared Mitchell at 21, Angels take Mike Trout at 23. A lot of Soxtalk actually wanted the SOX to take Trout instead of Mitchell with that pick. Also... There's a big difference between the 3rd pick and 21st pick. These also a big difference between the third pick and the first pick.
  8. Sale Beckham A. Garcia Tank Semien I think Garcia will improve this offseason. Tank will get over this sophomore slump and break out to the next level. Semien is my wild card, we'll see what he continues to do and hope it translates.
  9. Yea, no joke. Dude reminds me of a Pujos/Big Hurt morph
  10. It's going to be an interesting offseason indeed:
  11. Bring it. I love me the Cubans and it would make keeping Alexi while removing him from the two hole acceptable and yes this is a run on sentence, how I love them so, even more than ice cream on a hot summer day when all one really wants is ice water with a side of tang.
  12. It should be a pretty exciting offseason and spring training. More movement and competition than we've seen in recent years... Hanh's first chance to really shape the team moving forward. TPSM has BEGUN!
  13. QUOTE (Benchwarmerjim @ Aug 9, 2013 -> 03:43 PM) check out the Twins bullpen during the Colabello HR WTF? That's flipping curazzzy
  14. I know this isn't popular opinion but I still want Big Frank as a secondary hitting coach. He'd be great in helping players refine their approach.
  15. QUOTE (Noonskadoodle @ Aug 9, 2013 -> 04:40 PM) 1. Alejandro De Aza (L) LF 2. Gordon Beckham ® 2B 3. Alexei Ramirez ® SS 4. Adam Dunn (L) 1B 5. Dayan Viciedo ® DH 6. Conor Gillaspie (L) 3B 7. Jordan Danks (L) RF 8. Josh Phegley ® C 9. Blake Tekotte (L) CF i like it!
  16. QUOTE (Baron @ Aug 9, 2013 -> 11:52 AM) Take you and your white shirt tucking, 300 dollar belt showing butt elsewhere!
  17. Thanks for posing for pictures for me Alex. You ego maniac. That was just about the only good memory of you I'll have. Bye bye! Mugagagagagahahhahahahahahhaha Edit: Forgot to say... YES!!
  18. Just leave already please, Alex.
  19. we're winning??????? NOOOOOOOOOO
  20. a ball hit him
  21. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Aug 5, 2013 -> 05:22 AM) Tigers are averaging 5.5 runs/game at home and the Sox pitching held them to half that. Good job, guys! Great observation... Still managed to get swept. Lol Today so far against NY, the TPSM campaign's successful run seems to be in jeopardy. Doh...
  22. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Aug 4, 2013 -> 08:55 AM) Peavy got a win for Boston, Iglesias with an RBI single , HR and great D against the W. Sox. Garcia the only one involved in the trade not contributing in MLB. With all due respect... What does it matter if we have no trade inclusion contributing at the MLB level at current time?
