  1. f*** Abu Zubaydah though.
  2. QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 09:22 PM) Love JD, but he dogged it. He wasn't dogging it, he just can't run anymore.
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 09:17 PM) How in the world did that happen? I have 2 boards open, one thread was about making bold predictions for the draft, since both have generic white backgrounds I forgot where I was posting.
  4. The Rays announcers are still b****ing btw.
  5. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 08:52 PM) The Rays announcers are pathetic. I don't think they discussed anything but b****ing about the foul ball call. Yeah it was really starting to get annoying. But that's pretty much what Hawk does.
  6. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 08:47 PM) lexi clueless on the first swing He's been falling for that first pitch breaking ball every AB so far.
  7. QUOTE (Cochise @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 08:47 PM) Sorry, but how did Paulie get on? Singled on a soft liner
  8. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 08:45 PM) bases drunk, one out. JD should've scored. That blooper was way too shallow.
  9. I think JD was acting there. lol. Like the World Series.
  10. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 08:06 PM) Does it sound like there's a lot of Sox fans in attendance? Well there was a pretty healthy cheer for that last strikeout, so come to think of it, that may have been Sox fans cheering AJ's stolen base rather than Rays fans cheering that he got hit in the head.
  11. Sounds like the fans are cheering that AJ got hit with that throw to the base.
  12. Because it f***ing blows and I'm sick of it.
  13. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 03:51 PM) the truth is CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC aren't going to give any protest that is designed to criticize Obama positive coverage. expecting such is a losing battle; it would be the same as expecting the DNC to come out and give these protests a glowing review. I'm a little surprised it's taken you so many pages to post this.
  14. QUOTE (Cknolls @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 03:13 PM) Has anyone heard the term tea-bagging on ABC NBC CBS or FOX? Only CNN and MSDNC. Why is that? OLbermann Maddow Shuster and Anderson Cooper have all referenced the term on their respective shows. Pretty childish, IMO. They say it because it's f***ing funny. Sorry
  15. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 02:32 PM) Might all this be because the vast majority of superstars in major sports are black??? Nah... rofl. I wasn't going to respond
  16. I see a lot of free throws in that Finals.
  17. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 12:28 PM) When is the last time you saw a black fan wear a jersey of a white player? I don't see it too often. Um, Paul Konerko
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 12:02 PM) Do tell? I don't recall the exact verbiage but they were an independent republic before joining the Union and some legal document somewhere says they are a state, but only as long as they consent. Which is why you hear them talking about secession all the time but no other states do.
  19. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 11:54 AM) Well I guess NBA Finals experience, and that Allen is a more experienced player. I don't think Gordon can stop him defensively (although nitetrain will probably disagree). I don't think something like that is a factor in any way whatsoever.
  20. I posted that mostly for the "I want the government to cut spending but not my piece of the pie" argument.
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 11:48 AM) I'm from Indiana, I can't look down on anyone! Mississippi and Louisiana.
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 11:49 AM) Based on previous standards, I don't think the issue is the U.S. helping the newly independent Texas Republic against Mexico...I think Texas will be having enough problems with that pesky U.S. army when it follows the logic that President Lincoln used. They may be asking the Mexicans for some help in that defense. Texas is a different situation though.
  23. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 11:45 AM) Rondo > Rose. At least right now. Rondo has the playoff experience, and should exploit Rose's lack of D. Allen > Gordon. Again, playoff experience. And he shoots a better percentage from the floor. And Pierce is easily better than Salmons. Paul Pierce was the best player in the playoffs last season. He'll shut down the opposing teams' best defensive player and be a force on the offensive end. I just like the Celtics in this series, because the Bulls haven't proven that they can shut down anyone defensively yet. Ben Gordon has minimal playoff experience? I think playoff experience is a ridiculously overrated concept though.
