If I had to pick teams we played in the playoffs I would wanna face Boston or New York over Oakland or Seattle. First of all Boston and New York usually get the primetime games so Sox would be all over national TV when everyone is actually at home. Also they both have much weaker overall pitching when compared to Seattle and especially Oakland. Of course Oakland always turns into Chokeland in October anyways.

Aww I was hoping KC would start one of the guys that had a winning record but a 5+ ERA. I think it was Chris George but they also have Brad Voyles available. Both these guys would fit right into the KC rotation if you know what I mean ::nudge nudge wink wink::

I thought the 40 man roster was for your 25 guys and the 15 you want to have ready to be called up at any time. With Cotts I think the deal is we don't want to put him on the roster now because that starts his Major League service clock a ticking.

Really I can't bring myself to root for the cubs even if it keeps sox of tv a little longer. It would be different if they were 10 games below .500 but they aren't right now.
