With the language that Rongey is using on the pregame show, I guess they're probably not going to play. He says that a decision will be made at 2 PM. Usually if there's a chance they'll give an estimated start time and keep pushing it back. Not so in this case.

I think they'll play. And Beckham will get a hit or two.

There's a "It's Black And White" radio ad that lists a bunch of stats and then says that the only stat that matters is wins. One of the stats they list is "unforced errors." There is no such baseball stat. That's a tennis term. Errors in baseball are pretty much unforced by definition. That bugs me.

Pierre has more mileage, but not all that much more. Coming into the season, Podsednik had 1666 pro games as opposed to Pierre's 1770. I figure minor league players play just as hard since they are trying to make it to the bigs. Minor leaguers also play more fall and winter ball than major leaguers do, which makes up for the shorter minor league season.
