Jayson Nix went hit 6 homeruns in 8 games earlier this month. Good for him. I'm not sad that he's gone, but it would've been nice if he did something--anything--for the Sox while he was with the team this year.

Where were you when he pitched last year? I don't have any scouting info, but his K:BB has been excellent in the minors. It was not very good during his brief run in the majors last year. Any prospect is a potential flame-out, but he should be good.

Presumably Ozzie was pissed about the draft position and did his small part to undermine the team by telling one of their draft picks not to sign. I have no problem with him acting as a father and giving advice to his kid that may be to the organization's detriment, but he doesn't have to flaunt that in public.
