We are slowing moving up the ranks. We were in the low 22K area not too long ago, and 27th in attendance. Now we are at 24K and 24th. http://espn.go.com/mlb/attendance I won't be satisfied until we are top 15 though.

Part II: Another Camelback pic. Quentin doing yard work..... I added some effects to this shot. This is Brady Quinn to Jeff Samardzija in a game against Stanford.... I obviously added some effects to this one too. This is Jon Carlson catching a TD in the endzone, 1-handed. I have this picture framed along with my ticket, and picture of me and the people I went with.....can you tell which historic game this is...? Not a sports pic, obviously, but I just like this. I took this on our Smokey Mountains vacation....

I took some photog classes in high school and college, but I've never had a really nice camera. Never been interested enough to buy a $900 camera. I just have a solid point-and-shoot that I pretty much just use for sporting events. I actually do take a LOT of great sports pictures, timing wise, but since my camera is just decent, they aren't amazing pictures. But I do have a knack for well-timed sports pictures or anticipating the action. I hope you guys can see these pics off my FB page..... My buddy blasting a HR for the Illinois Lincoln, a collegiate baseball team in Chicagoland area.... I believe this was David DeJesus getting thrown out at home plate sometime in June.... This isn't a great pic, but I think it's funny I had to educate my class about who R.A. Dickey was while we were reporting at Spring Training, and then he happens to go on to have an amazing season, and now they ALL know who he is. Snapped a few good pics of him gripping the knuckleball, but this was the most clear/framed up...... Only because I know some of you would really appreciate this........our boy! This picture just amuses me. Youkilis mocking Papelbon's routine on the mound while everyone else is having a meeting, Middlebrooks laughing along with me..... My brother putting the moves on the goalie. I have another pic of the next frame, but it's a little blurry. The lighting in hockey rinks are TERRRRRIBLE.... Mr. Jim Thome depositing the lone run of game #163 on to the Fandeck in CF...... Not a great picture, but it makes me happy! Just a cool pic of Thome and Paulie at Camelback Ranch....

Dan Straily makes his MLB debut for Oakland tonight. Arguably the best minor league pitcher this year. This guy was a 24th RD pick who just exploded in the A's system. Had a 11.4 K/9 to go along with like a 2.3 BB/9 or something this season in AA and AAA, which includes dominating in the PCL.

Nick f***ing Blackburn is throwing a 2-hitter against me in The Show right now. This game is SOOO hard to hit in! Every once in a while I will dominate a great pitcher, but I get shut out most of the time. I have to be last in runs scored like every year.

Quietly Ryan Kussmaul is having a very good year..... 49 IP, 28 H, 7 ER, 19 BB, 54 K, 1.28 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 9.92 K/9, 3.46 BB/9 He need to get the walks down a little, but his H/9, ERA, WHIP, K/9, are all fantastic. He is a 25-year-old 6'4" RHP who had an equally dominating season in W-S last year.

Also, while we are obviously in a Technology thread, what are the opinions here on GPS devices? Among the items stolen from my car, my GPS was one of them. I'd really like to get a new one before I head down to school in 2 weeks. I'm thinking Garmin because I've used them before (my aunt always looks to be to show her how to use electronics she buys) and because they have the Lifetime Map Updates thing, which is pretty awesome. I'm obviously going to look in to Tom-Tom, and probably even Mio, which is the brand of the GPS that I owned. Any other brands I should check up on? I'm going to do some research for a few hours. Maybe order one tomorrow or Saturday. Not looking for anything real high end at all. Thinking $150 or less.
