  1. Maybe someone like Jorge Cantu to replace Omar as our utility infielder. As for a pitcher, I'll go w/ someone like Todd Coffey.
  2. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 29, 2011 -> 02:17 AM) Right...saying the Cards won the trade because they won the WS is kind of like saying they were better off this year without Adam Wainwright. ZI may be a litle drunk right now, but i like that comparison. And plus, evben if they won the trade, who mcares? The trade was not w/ us. We traded w/ the blue jays. The blua jays then traded w/ the Cardiansl.
  3. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Oct 28, 2011 -> 12:53 AM) I have a theory about Dexter if anybody wants to hear it... You've been beaten to it. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 12:35 AM) I think whoever said they think Travis' mentor is not real is completely right. I made sure to pay attention to it tonight, and it was most obvious in the scene where they went out to get coffee. The waitress never once looked at him, and there was only 1 table setting there. And then in the scene where the girl is tied up in the house, she freaks out once Travis comes in, and she again never looks at the other guy, even when he touches her hair (which I noticed he touched the back of her head where the camera blocked any actual movement of her hair). I think that's a great prediction.
  4. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Oct 26, 2011 -> 09:45 PM) Rumor so far is it's an LA/Hollywood setting. Yeah I saw that. We should know by Nov 2nd when the trailer comes out.
  5. I really hope it's in California again. I loved being able to head up to the "back country" to explore for Big Foot. I hope they incorporate the Red Dead Redemption "hunting" idea if they have a backwoods again.

  7. I really want to see "Time In". Love the idea.
  8. Sure, do it. Why not. Anyone is better than Walker, and Big Hurt is a fan favorite.
  9. I am pretty sure I recall the Sox/Tigers and Hawks/Wings playing eachother on the same day recently, but I don't recall what cities they were in.
  10. Lupe Fiasco mixtape comes out on Thanksgiving. I'm pretty pumped, but the first song off the mixtape is another political song. I'm not always a fan of his political songs, it's somewhat uncomfortable to listen to.
  11. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 05:03 PM) They were pretty much saying that about Uncharted 2 and it lived up to all the hype it received as well. I can't wait for early November. Uncharted 3, AC: Brotherhood and Elder Scrolls VI all come out within days of each other Brotherhood already came out, I think you mean Revelations. Which reminds me, I still have to finish Brotherhood.
  12. Also, I'm pumped about the new AC. Will probably have to ask for it for Xmas though.
  13. Uncharted 3 got a 10/10? Holy s***. I never got in to that series, but maybe I will have to rent this one....
  14. Friday night I am being a Leprechaun. Not a scary one from the horror movies, but a normal, happy one. Saturday I am being a One-Night-Stand.
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 10:33 AM) Jim Hendry > Theo Epstein
  16. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 22, 2011 -> 05:40 AM) You have lost all credibility in my eyes. Why?
  17. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 24, 2011 -> 01:08 AM) You know what, perhaps EJO is to Colin Hanks what Harry is to Dexter. Maybe he did teach him in college, fell off the face of the Earth (was killed by Hanks or committed suicide in some religious thing), and now that's how Hanks pictures his religious "conscience" or something. That's exactly what I meant by "not real". I think he WAS a real person, as the pictures that the police department has of him proves (preview of next week), but I think he is dead and now Colin Hanks just imagines him there. Dexter sees Harry, has conversations with him, and uses him as guidance. I think it's the same effect on Colin Hanks. Just like Dexter said, the only thing he "believed in" was his dad, and I think Colin believes in EJO, as you guys refer to him.
  18. Also, Homeland was excellent tonight. I think I got all my friends hooked on it. I'll try and watch Boardwalk tonight before I go to bed.

  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Oct 23, 2011 -> 05:32 PM) AJ Pierzynski visiting the Fox broadcasting booth at the Cowboys game. I was so confused when I saw the highlight of Jackson ripping a 40 yard run and a voice came up started to talk about Adam Dunn. I was like "holy s***, is that AJ?"
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 23, 2011 -> 12:07 PM) Too bad the move by Toews last night in the 3rd didn't get him a goal. That was top play worthy. Brunette had an awesome shot on goal when he caught the pass in front of the goalie and deked back the opposite way to his backhand. It was saucy.
  22. 1 for 7 on the shootout so far? Ugh. I want to see Frolik get a shot in the next one.
  23. All I drink is Woodchuck. That stuff is 5-5.5% for the regular kinds, and 7% for their pumpkin version. I drank 8 of them tonight, and am unfortunately not drunk. Blehh...
