folks have noted #reds top catching prospect devin mesoraco not in louisville lineup today. im told just a day off. Would the Reds have any interest in Matt Thornton? Just speculating, but we need a legit catching prospect, not a fringy guy like Flowers.

Jordan Norberto and former Sox 1B prospect Brandon Allen (traded for Tony Pena) go to Oakland.

Yeah, Kenny said he wasn't going to do anything last July 31st, and what do ya know, 10 minutes before the deadline, he snags Edwin Jackson, and almost Dunn. Kenny uses the media for smoke and mirrors ALL THE TIME. Don't believe anything he says when it comes to trades.

People need to stop looking at W-L column and focus on the GB column. There is NO AMOUNT OF WINS that get you in to the playoffs. The only thing that matters is if you finish ahead of everyone else in your division. We may not be .500, but we are still only 3 games back in the division, and that's all that matters.

Well, Thornton made Ellsbury look stupid there. Maybe it'll help that trade value.

Dunn gets booed because he sucks. Rios gets booed because he doesn't seem to try or care. World of difference because if Adam turns it on, he will gain the crowd back fairly quickly. Rios may never get love from the fans after this.
