  1. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:56 PM) For the shows you guys mentioned, did you start watching them from the beginning or Netflix/dvd them? For both Lost and Scrubs, I don't think I started to watch until about the 4th season so I completely caught up on Lost through dvd and Netflix while Scrubs was pretty much all through syndication. I think Prison Break and The Black Donnelly's were the only ones I watched on a weekly basis from the beginning. I caught up with Breaking Bad before S3 started, and I caught up with Dexter during S5.
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:54 PM) Morel has 20 HR power at best. Probably. I think he can be a .280+, 15-18 HR hitter with that gold glove at 3B, and that would be amazing.
  3. Am I the only one who ever watched The Black Donnelly's on NBC? Such a great show.
  4. Just tried Woodchuck last night. Not sure if it's considered a "beer", but if so, it's the only beer I like. And 7% alcohol? Yes please.
  5. Comedy - That 70's Show, Home Improvement, The Simpsons Drama - Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Black Donnellys (ANYONE REMEMBER THAT EPIC SHOW?)
  6. I assume a lot of people here have Daniel Hudson framed jerseys. Ask them.
  7. QUOTE (kev211 @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 01:02 AM) So I've got some friends begging me to start watching Breaking Bad. Is it worth the time to watch? 1000x over. I can't imagine any other show being more worth the time. Seriously.
  8. Wilkins went 2/3, BB. He is now up to .268. Wilkins hit .323 in July, and .429 in July so far. Nice to see him bring that average up from his .239 Pre-Allstar break. Rangel Ravelo not hitting .409 in Kanny, .396 overall this year. Wish he would get his 1st HR this year, but it's nice to see he has mad contact skills. He is only 19, so maybe he can develop in to some power.
  9. Wilkins went 2/3, BB, HR, 3 RBI Gac went 3/3 with 2 HR. He now has 30 HR and 82 RBI. Wowzers. Too bad he is old for the league.
  10. Snodgress with a nice start. 4 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K
  11. I actually thought he looked a lot like Jeff Samardzija w/ that hair.
  12. QUOTE (Lillian @ Aug 6, 2011 -> 09:38 PM) Do those of you who asserted that de Aza was a AAAA player have a little different assessment yet? I love his hustle and the tools he brings to the game. He has always struck me as a guy who could play, if given a chance. No. I still don't believe in De Aza. He is a perfectly capable 4th OF, and I'd like him to stay there, but I'd never want him in a starting position if I could help it.
  13. Not expecting much out of Stewart until next spring when Coop can get significant time with him, and maybe put him on a good workout plan this offseason. He won't make Stewart in to a stud in 2 months.
  14. Silverio went 2/3 with a grand slam. Hitting .350 now with 13 RBI in 16 games in High-A.
  15. Peavy's start is pushed back, Zach Stewart will start tomorrow.
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 5, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) Are you serious? A rocket? Maybe you prefer bullet, smash, or screamer. But yeah, all of those.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 5, 2011 -> 09:07 PM) If we don't score a few more runs, this game has a feel of 2-run walkoff home run written all over it. Hopefully by Thome.
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 5, 2011 -> 09:03 PM) I'm glad that was not 'the inning' of doom. Nice job, Mark. I hope our parade of relievers gets the job done tonight. Crain, Sale, Thornton and Sergio. What order will Oz use them? Bruney will get the 8th. Why? Because it would infuriate all of us.
  19. QUOTE (kapzk @ Aug 5, 2011 -> 08:55 PM) wtf is Morel swinging at that pitch he drilled up the middle.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 5, 2011 -> 08:53 PM) Morel is swinging up there like he's facing Clemens in his prime. 11 pitch AB so far. I'm good with this.
  21. Why is Hawk giving us inning-by-inning updates of the Yankees/Red Sox game? Why should we care?
  22. QUOTE (T R U @ Aug 5, 2011 -> 02:03 AM) The stick doesn't influence the pass higher, tapping the button lobs it and then the longer you hold the button determines the speed of the pass.. example.. tap to lob, hold to bullet The stick is for leading and such Yeah, I know how that works, but isn't leading the pass UP the same thing? We usually just run streak routes, and I figured if you can lead a pass left or right, can't you lead up a pass UP or DOWN?
