I could see Thornton to Phillies, because that doesn't really hurt us much this season. But Quentin to the Braves? While I am for that (I think Viciedo will do fine as a replacement), I don't think Kenny is willing to take the risk that Viciedo DOES produce well, especially after this injury. This is the height of Quentin's value, but I don't think Kenny has the guts to do it.

I didn't think this rumor deserved it's own thread, since it's pretty far-fetched, but some guy on twitter mentioned some trade rumor to Brett Ballantini.... Quentin, Floyd, and Thornton to the Mets for David Wright. That would suck.

Does Konerko rake Wakefield, or am I thinking of Lillibridge? Either way, I think Paulie will kick ass tonight.
