Alright, so let's go Morel in the game now...

Beckham is not having a good 10 minutes. And Salty does those splits because he gets some pleasure having his vagina rub against the Fenway soil.

Lackey hitting Q sure LOOKED intentional, but Lackey is an idiot if it actually was. Can't load the bases up by hitting a guy because your catcher had weak hands.

QUOTE (hi8is @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 01:27 PM) I think that for all his offesnive struggles this year - Carlos has shown he is a good hitter. I'd give him another year to see what he can do with the stick. I thought you said "snuggles" instead of "struggles". I think I'll stick with snuggles.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Sep 4, 2010 -> 03:48 PM) Any chance we see Morel as a defensive sub late in the game? I like that lineup as well. I would think so, and hope so, but Ozzie LOVES his Omar.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 06:04 PM) And Felix faced the Rangers, Yankees and Red Sox. Just a tad better than the Tigers, Orioles and Indians. Felix was clearly the best AL pitcher last month. BAA: .189 ERA: 0.82 K/9: 10.62 Well, ok, if you factor in opponents faced, then sure I guess you could give it to Felix. Bottom line is that Buchholz was not deserving.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 06:17 PM) Felix Hernandez was better than both of them. Eh, I disagree. I think Felix was better than Buchholz obviously, but outside of ERA, Jackson wins about every category over Felix.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 05:14 PM) As old as this is, and as late as you are with it, still f***ing hilarious. I saw it when it was live 2 years ago or whatever, but it was linked from that other video, so I posted it. His mannerisms and hand movements are spot on.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 12:34 AM) 1.) Reinsdorf. I'd sell the team and have all that money. 2.) Kotsay. Didn't you all say he has the most gorgeous wife on the team? 3.) Paulie. It'd be fun to hit all those home runs. I figured you'd pick Manny.

QUOTE (kev211 @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 11:03 PM) Hahahaha I did the exact same thing in my class. Haha, I was doing a little fisting pumping in my Bio class too. Not for Paulie's HR, but for some earlier moments in the game. I had the feed playing fullscreen on my computer, so I think the row behind me got to watch the game too. Haha.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX SWEEP!!!
Awesome, Twins lose, and they use up 3 of their starters in this game. Tigers could have easily swept, but at least we got a game closer. 3.5 :bringit

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX SWEEP!!!
2 outs! Bases empty. Let's go Valverde! Working on like his 3rd inning.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX SWEEP!!!
Laird with a HR! Tigers up 10-9, top 13th.

QUOTE (gatnom @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 10:43 PM) Maybe it's all part of their plan to tax the Twins' bullpen. Maybe not. Well, fortunately it's only the 13th inning, and Brian Duensing as already pitched and now it's Nick Blackburn in the pitch. Blackburn is scheduled to pitch tomorrow vs. Rangers. Matt Capps is their only reliever not used, but he is unavailable due to soreness. So at least the Tigers errors have messed with the Twins rotation now.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 11:06 PM) Looking back at your posts, no, you didn't blame this season on his injuries. Either way, I hope one of us reopens this thread next September when Bay is in AAA Buffalo or he is leading the NL in HRs. It's very likely we won't remember, or won't be able to find the thread. Maybe send me a PM about this and it would be easier to relocate?

Rick Hahn. It's like having Kenny's job, but I wouldn't have to be blamed for things. Plus, I could see what goes on in Kenny's thought processes.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX SWEEP!!!
OMG the Tigers suck so bad! They took the lead in the top of the 11th inning. Then in the bottom of the 11th it is 1st and 2nd with 0 outs. Joe Mauer strikes out. 1 out. Then it's a DP ball to Inge. He bobbles the ball, tries to throw to 2nd, and it's a bad throw, the runners are all safe. So now it's bases loaded with 1 out. Next batter hits a perfect DP ball to 2B. Rhymes gets the ball, tries to go to 2B, but Santiago is standing on the base, blocking him. So he runs into Santiago, they fall down, and he barely gets the out at 2B, but the tying run scores. Blown save, and 9-9. Then the next batter hits a grounder to 2B and he makes the out thank god. Tigers are so terrrible. 2 perfect DP balls that could have ended the game, and they messed up BOTH of them. Now it's the top of the 12th. f***ING s***HEADS!

Konerko....
Something kind of funny..... I post on another site and I mentioned my top 3 MVP candidates... I said Hamilton, Cano, and Konerko, with Hamilton winning easily. And about 2-3 Blue Jays fans jumped all over me saying Konerko is barely a top 10, and Bautista should be considered in the top 3. Then I mentioned how the Sox actually have a shot at the playoffs, and the Blue Jays are buried in the standings and for the past half a page it's been "Yeah, I wish we played in the s***ty ALC" and "The Sox would be a .500 team in the East" and all this s*** that does not even matter to my original point. LOL. It's been a headache. I guess it's true that no one outside of Sox fans recognize Konerko as an elite player this year.

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 09:59 PM) Yeah the BoSox were absolutely desperate to bring him back into the fold for this year but just didn't have the luck. But by all means, a 25 year old budding ace and a former MVP candidate at his absolute lowest value for an aging injury risk with a massive contract, it makes sense on paper cmonnnnn Kenny Nah, I'm good. I don't need to back down because I am the minority. I guess we will see in the end when Danks gets his next contract, and when Jason Bay returns healthy next season.

And they just showed a replay from earlier in the game when West blew ANOTHER call against the Twins, and then threw out Gardenhire for arguing. Maybe he hates the Sox AND Twins.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX SWEEP!!!
Joe West just blew a call against the Twins in the Tigers/Twins game. Unfortunately, Jesse Crain pitched over it, and now the game is going into the bottom of the 10th. I wish these f***ers would just lose. I mean, Scott Baker only pitched 2 innings today, and yet the Twins bullpen kept them in the game tonight because Verlander and the D-town D-fence sucked.
