  1. Ha, it definitely helps doing a re-watch before the new season starts. Lodge 49 anyone? I like it.
  2. Draft order through 132 games (after Game 132): Orioles 38-94 (1-0) Royals 41-91 Padres 50-82 (1-1) White Sox 52-80 Tigers 53-79 Marlins 53-79 (0-1) Reds 57-75 Mets 58-74 Rangers 58-74 (0-1) Blue Jays 60-72
  3. Because you need the spring training schedule on August 29th... https://mobile.twitter.com/whitesox/status/1034837523321815040 Glad they aren’t traveling to an affiliate before opening day.
  4. Unless he wants to leave on his own, I’m expecting Renteria to finish out three years and then Vizquel takes over after a year in Birmingham. Just a guess. But... Shildt got the Cardinals job, so Girardi has one less potential spot, so if the Sox want him and he’s interested, you never know.
  5. It’s just math. I suppose they may throw him in the pen at first, but three off days in the first nine days.
  6. Nitpicking, but since they won’t need a 5th starter until 4-10, Stephens won’t make the OD roster. I hope they cut ties with Castillo sooner than later.
  7. I don’t think he was that bad. May have been on his own.
  8. 6 at best. 8 at worst. Stuff happens.
  9. Mercy. What a non-season for him. Might as well be Jake Burger.
  10. Avi played CF in an all star game. Not ideal, but...
  11. It’s at least time for local media to stop calling him Navarez. Still hear it all the time.
  12. 1-2-3 first inning for Hansen on 8 pitches
  13. Tonight is Eloy's 150th game in the Sox organization. He has 198 hits.
  14. That's one way of looking at it. The Sox front office could find a way to rationalize bringing him up, and I'm sure most fans will eat it up. And in the end, it may work out just fine...but it's a big gamble that I wouldn't make.
  15. If anything, I think the next CBA is going to knock free agency down to 5 years, so the Sox may have him for the "winning years" of 2021, 2022, an 2023 if they bring him up this year. It would be exciting for the fans, but front offices can't think that way, obviously.
  16. If that's a gamble they want to take, go for it. They would have to feel good about locking him up though.
  17. Cool. Start next season 18-12 against a weak schedule.
  18. 7 games left this season. If he can come up on the 14th day of next season, Wednesday, April 10 vs Rays at home.
  19. Collins getting fitted for a sombrero
  20. Poster child of why nobody can figure out if bullpens are going to be good or bad on a yearly basis.
  21. He’s ready, but years ago without social media and daily updates, nobody would have questioned keeping a 21-yr old in AAA all season, let alone half a season. They would have said- great season, he’ll be up next year. And that’s what will happen.
