  1. QUOTE (Waygodai @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 07:55 PM) No, no, no perish the thought Kyle --- having fun at a sports event??? That's unpossible! Fun, competition, sudden surges in endorphins, serotonin, dopamine, chatting up a random hottie.... are the most diabolical inventions since the beach balls and the Wave. Im totes for the tank now, my man. Just wait til we get Wiggins AND Randle AND Exum next year, plus Eddie Curry and Tyson Chandler? Suh-weet! Think of the wicked starting line-up we could field on xbox by 2062, at latest... sick! No way Bron-Bron, Chuckles or Big Aristotle couldn ignore the Bulls on Twitter then! Not like Bron-Bron or Brian Westbrook could awkwardly step on someone's foot tomorrow or whatever and suddenly the field is wide-open again, either... You're just trolling, right? Nobody can be this stupid.
  2. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 03:25 PM) Just because you had 3.8 ypc doesn't mean you had a bad game either. When you average 4.6 on the year and your name is Adrian Peterson I think you might call it subpar. That's just me though.
  3. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 03:09 PM) Didn't Reggie Bush, Brandon Jacobs, Adrian Peterson and Alfred Morris all run for 100 yards those first 6 weeks? Morris was in week 7 (which was when Briggs got hurt). Jacobs had 106 and Peterson had 100 on the nose. Bush and the lions averaged over 5 ypc, but like I said, that was the game after Melton got hurt. Just because somebody gets 100 on you (Peterson) doesn't make it a good game (3.8 ypc).
  4. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 02:37 PM) Cause the Bears were a great run defense this year before he got hurt. They were giving up an average of 102 yards in the 6 games before he got hurt. That would be top 10 currently. E: And they held 4/6 opponents to under 4 ypc and the only opponent to average over 5 per carry was right after the Melton injury. The bears on the year are giving up over 5 ypc. That's a pretty huge difference.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 10:30 AM) Over/Under at 70? It's actually 55.5, which looks like a gift from the heavens.
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 07:05 PM) I don't know about that. Cutler hasn't had a good game against Green Bay in 3 years. The offense is much, much better than it was in those three years.
  7. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 9, 2013 -> 10:43 PM) The Bears would be idiots to sit McCown even if Cutler is healthy. This offense is a thing of beauty right now. They scored 20 on Minnesota in OT last week and 21 two weeks ago against the Rams. Let's not get ahead of ourselves quite yet. Although Cutler would have to be 110% Derrick Rose healthy before I started him again. Don't want to see another second half like the Lions game.
  8. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 9, 2013 -> 09:33 PM) Still not great though, given their typical short yardage performance Agreed
  9. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 9, 2013 -> 09:28 PM) It helps this is the best o line in 15 years. I'd rate the line with Tait, Kreutz, Brown, and Miller as better for sure. This line is definitely the best in a while though.
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 7, 2013 -> 11:42 PM) I am pretty sure that fullback is a transfer from Illinois, ha. He is. I think his mom had a brain tumor or something so he transferred to be closer to her.
  11. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Dec 7, 2013 -> 11:08 PM) I guess...........Auburn lost to a 3 loss LSU team............OSU lost to 1 loss Mich St team. Auburn beat Alabama and then put up 50+ against Missouri. OSU beat Wisconsin. I fully expect fsu to beat auburn, but that offense is legit. Fsu has the advantage of having a month to scheme against it though.
  12. The national championship game just got interesting. Can FSU stop auburn? That should be a hell of a game. The football gods were smiling down on us today.
  13. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 7, 2013 -> 10:49 PM) Go away osu, eat s*** urban. Overrrrrrrraaaaated
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 7, 2013 -> 01:02 AM) Hopefully SG. PG and PF are beyond loaded. The three best players in the league are SFs. C is improving. Only position kinda lacking right now is the 2-guard. Yeah, but he isn't much of a three point shooter. Can he be Wade? I don't think he's as good as Wade was with the ball.
  15. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 11:00 PM) Irving's been able to get away with too many bad habits for so long in Cleveland, because they desperately don't want to lose him as they did with LeBron a few years ago. He only played 20MINS tonight though, so the next 24 hours may be interesting to see if there's any developments there. On top of Zoom's point about Affalo, last season the Magic tried to run their offense through him as a playmaker and that's not his game, bringin in Oladipo has massively helped his game. I'd say OKC will attempt a trade for him at the deadline, but it's more likely Orlando packages up Affalo + the Denver pick in this season's draft to try and grab another top 10 selection I'd say. What position do you see Oladipo having in the future? SG or PG?
  16. QUOTE (danman31 @ Dec 7, 2013 -> 12:21 AM) Kentucky isn't that good. Yet. E: The talent is there. The Harrison twins seem a bit overrated at this point, but if they put it together they can win a lot of games. The good Calipari teams have always had good PGs, whether it be Rose, Evans, Wall (Bledsoe), or even Teague (although having the brow and a sophomore class that shouldn't have been there helped).
  17. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 11:47 PM) It would be terrible viewing for all the same reasons. Not many to draws eyes from outside the state of Alabama and everyone outside the South is tired of the SEC narrative. "Terrible" is hyperbole. It would do fine. FSU- OSU would obviously do better as would FSU vs Auburn or FSU vs Alabama, but Auburn vs Alabama would do well. Especially after how much ESPN would hype it up.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 08:57 PM) Do you know what 3 games had the highest TV ratings this season? Bama - Auburn Bama - A & M Bama - LSU http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/12/0...-season/220234/ Yeah, he's clearly wrong here, but I could see why somebody might not want to see a rematch.
  19. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 07:12 PM) And nobody would watch a rematch, just like nobody watched the last SEC matchup. It would do less than LSU Alabama. I'd be willing to wager that it would do better than that matchup based on the in-state rivalry and the explosiveness of the offenses. Again, this won't happen though.
  20. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 05:56 PM) Yes? Though Missouri winning would be more fun. Who else would actually have an argument over Auburn and Alabama in that case? FSU would have lost to Duke on top of an easy schedule and OSU would also have a loss on top of their easy schedule. There's pretty much no way this happens, obviously, but I don't think it would make it more of a clusterf***.
  21. I knew Abrams wasn't playing good basketball, but I didn't know he was 31% on 10.5 FGA per game bad. Groce really needs to give Tate a start soon. Worst case is Tate fails, Abrams doesn't respond, and then everything goes back to the way they are now. Maybe Tate embraces the role and holds onto it for a bit while Abrams responds well and provides a spark off the bench. Only one way to find out.

    QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 5, 2013 -> 03:56 AM) Stop before the last two seasons. And miss out on the acting prowess of Sasha Grey?!?!
  23. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 10:10 AM) Did someone remind Crean that 'Cuse plays zone? Someone should text him. Doesn't look like he got that text.
