  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 21, 2014 -> 06:01 PM) Seahawks Broncos just got interesting Now it's very interesting. Broncos are getting the ball with 6 minutes.
  2. Kaepernick looking awful again.
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 21, 2014 -> 05:31 PM) The 49ers are playing remarkably stupid football so far this year. We saw that last week. So many dumb penalties. Although some of the penalties they're getting called for in this Arizona game seem borderline. They called unnecessary roughness on Skuta when he hit Skelton before he slid.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 21, 2014 -> 05:28 PM) Didn't he get hurt? He is now, he wasn't when he was traded.
  5. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 21, 2014 -> 05:21 PM) Their OL isn't very good. They may win their weak ass division, but they aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. They probably shouldn't have traded Mankins.
  6. Broncos just got screwed on a terrible no-call. The Seahawk defender was pretty much in the backfield before the snap and they said he wasn't in the neutral zone.
  7. Lacy's also the biggest bust of the year so far. He's played against 3 good rush defenses thus far, but he's got less than 10 points this year through 3 games.
  8. What the hell is going on with the Pats? 16 points against the Raiders...for real?
  9. I'm loving my Emmanuel Sanders pick right now. Manning likes targeting him and he's going to be relevant even with Welker back in the lineup.
  10. QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Sep 21, 2014 -> 10:31 AM) Wow, Man Utd go down 5-3 at Leicester after leading 3-1. They are going to provide plenty of entertainment this year. World class attack. Di Maria in particular has looked excellent and they're going to score goals. Defensively though they are so frail. There's not an above average defender in their squad (and there may not even be an average defender). I think Blind and Herrera are too lightweight in the center of the park also, and can't give the defense enough cover. They need an all-action midfield enforcer, someone like Vidal or Strootman, plus a top class center back (Benatia would have been a good fit but he went to Bayern) or Hummels, someone of that ilk. Still a long way for them to go. There have been some good game this weekend, especially for me as a West Ham fan. 3-1 win against Liverpool was a great result and performance. Steven Gerrard was invisible during this game, as was the case during the World Cup and towards the end of last season. He's been a great servant for Liverpool but I think he's done and is only holding them back now. As for my Hammers, I'm loving all the summer signings made by the club. Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia offer pace, power, determination and work rate in attack and give the team a new dimension going forward that has not been present at any point during Sam Allardyce's reign. Cheikhou Kouyate has looked studly in the heart of midfield and could become a top quality player (he has been compared to both Yaya Toure and Patrick Vieira this year leading to the nickname Yaya Vieira... nothing but realistic expectations there!). Alex Song's class and quality on the ball is a cut above. Aaron Cresswell looks very solid at left-back. Zarate brings some much needed flair and creativity. The midfield trio of Song, Kouyate and Noble can be a real strong point and Downing looks a completely different player after a disappointing debut campaign last year. Most importantly I am really happy that the club have decided to move away from signing old players who are past their peak to signing younger (though admittedly unproven) talent that can improve and develop and help to take the club to the next level (competing for European places in the next year or two, hopefully). A lot of reasons to be positive right now. (Hopefully I'm not overrating to what may prove to be just a fast start...) I laughed hard at that. Although they had a terrible call go against them on a penalty when it was 3-1 that got Leicester back in the game. The Leicester player basically shoved the ManU defender out of the way and then dove in the box. Just awful officiating.
  11. Maclin and Foles put me over the top this week.
  12. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 19, 2014 -> 02:08 AM) So one of my friends in my league says that I don't know about football "You probably don't even know who Alshon is and he's on your team!" because I don't give it as much focus as the MLB or NBA and put 0 effort into drafting. Kicked his ass. Turned Amendola, D. Walker, and McCown (Mr. Irrelevant, had last pick) into Mike Wallace, Vernon Davis, and Russell Wilson via waiver claims. On that note: Mike Wallace or Andre Johnson this week? Andre Ellington is the flex, so I could sit him as well. Either you're in a 8 man league or the people in your league are incredibly incompetent.
  13. QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 18, 2014 -> 10:45 PM) His conversion% is actually 83.8% according to ESPN....Only 9 closers (of the 30 listed) have worse...His ERA right now is 4.40, worst among those 30.....Only 4 closers have a worse WHIP.....Only 4 closers have a worse batting average against (He and Petricka both have a .250 BAA)....Not that it really matters, but he also has 7 losses, which is the most.....His 10 HRs are the same amount given up by the 5 guys who have gotten saves for the Sox combined ( 242 innings vs 57) His K/BB looks great, but he was giving up homers left and right early in the year. You can't have that from your closer.
  14. Now those who, for whatever reason, played TB's DST this week look smart. They have 11 points in my league after that pick 6.
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 18, 2014 -> 10:15 PM) f***ing Thank god. Jackson redeemed. I'll take 7 points over 0 all day.
  16. OMG Jackson caught a pass. Edit: now a TD!
  17. Evan Dietrich-Smith needs to get cut immediately after the game.
  18. Reed ended up having a decent second half and his numbers more or less stabilized. Still, a closer with an FIP and ERA around 4 isn't exactly valuable.
  19. Oof, Bobby Rainey with 2 fumbles.
  20. lol Julio almost picked one off on a hail mary.
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 18, 2014 -> 08:58 PM) Glad I decided to stream the Falcons D against Peyton McCown Now it's against Glennon.
  22. Vincent Jackson has been awfully frustrating so far. At least Tampa will pass for the rest of the game. He has to get something right?
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 18, 2014 -> 08:39 PM) Congrats to Hester, good for him. I have always been a huge Lovie fan and McCown is a great story, but given the Chicago meat head hype around them, I'm not upset to see them struggle. And did you guys see the size of Julio Jones arms? Wow. This is simply embarrassing for Tampa.
