  1. I don't think Hudson would have done anything there anyways. Looks like we'll have to score 4 against Cordero.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:34 PM) Doubt it, as you never know if Romero throws the same pitches in a closer game, etc. You also can't say that the other Sox reliever that would have come in would have held the Jays scoreless. Yeah, it's no guarantee. But him giving up 4 runs in 3 innings sure didn't help the cause.
  3. Wow, Celts up 5 after 3. They'll win the series if they get this game...come on Boston. 12 more minutes of good basketball.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:27 PM) Ironically, Stewart played a huge part in the game that the Sox came back to beat the Tigers at the Cell that turned our season around, IMO. Well he might have cost us this one.
  5. Those runs Stewart gave up with 2 outs sure look big now.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) 23k...pretty good Seems like it's a lot less.
  7. 10 HR for A.J. now. He's going to hit like 25 at this rate. That'd be quite the "rebirth" season for him at 30 something. ZiPS projects 8 HR the rest of the way, so they have him at 18. It'd be a career high I think (or tied for it at least).
  8. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) Actually, he's still pitching I'm referring to the possibility of him pitching beyond this inning.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:30 PM) Wow, how many 2 strike hits can he allow tonight? AJ, want to waste a pitch instead of throwing the same pitch seemingly every pitch in that AB? They tried in the first, that didn't work. This Blue Jays team is too patient.
  10. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) Oh ok...I guess I'll turn it off then. Maybe you should now. 5-1. Humber's done.
  11. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:27 PM) It's 3-1. Is ok with you if we don't concede this one quite yet? We've never hit Romero well. He's getting behind pretty much every hitter and we haven't seen much of anything yet offensively.

The Last of Us looks amazing.
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 06:03 PM) And I'd suspect Ozzie after getting punched by you would then rip you apart. How do you know Quinarvy isn't a 6 foot 5 300 pound professional weight lifter?
  14. Konerko scratched, per 670 The Score. Ruh oh. Is that why he's been hitting like s*** recently?
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 05:31 PM) So what you are saying here is that you caused his mild heart attack What a monster that JoeCoolMan is...
  16. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 05:34 PM) MLB Network voted him #2 behind Michael Young. The MLBN Facebook page voted him #2 behind Carlos Ruiz. To me #2 on both lists is true underrated-ness. If you're #1 are you truly underrated? Michael Young's not underrated when everyone thinks he's underrated. No seriously though, Young's actually OVERRATED. Some guy gave him a #1 MVP vote last year. Really?
  17. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 04:21 PM) Yep, I agreed with most all of it. I didn't read anything that made me say "what?" Except he said Delmon Young can hold his own in LF, which he definitely cannot do.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 02:24 PM) Someone has not used Google's Play Music. I mean, my entire library from anywhere for free, and the interface is top notch. I have music collection OCD. Google Music offers no real music player options (where's my sound settings?). They tend to compress my album art and they look low quality. Other than that, it's an alright app.
  19. QUOTE (G&T @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 02:09 PM) Every pitcher looks weird when they throw. Here's Buehrle: Look at Chris Sale's body. It's like that jersey is twice as big as he is. It's not so much that his arm looks weird while he's throwing (I know that everybody's arm looks weird when they throw), it's just that he's so skinny. It's freakish.

The three things I like about iOS: 1. The music player...although it's stupidly stupid that you have to go through iTunes or some kind of sync mechanism for that. Music players on Android offer more options, but they either look like crap or are missing obvious options. 2. Uniformity. An iPhone 4 can still play the latest games on the App Store. Why? Because it's a hell of a lot easier to develop for a set of devices that are similar in architecture than 100 with completely different chipsets. Fragmentation is a huge issue with Android, but that's expected when you have 10 different companies making phones. 3. Updates. I can get an update from iTunes anytime I want, right when Apple decides to roll it out. Android? Well, I gotta go through all kinds of loops to get Android 4.0 running on a non-Google phone. Nexus phones are great. You get great hardware with almost immediate updates. Got a Galaxy S II? Well, you're screwed. Samsung and whatever carrier you have will delay the update for like months. The Galaxy S II was released a year ago. T-Mobile JUST gave it an ICS update, 7 months after the firmware was released. The main issue with Android is that you have too many parties doing too many different things. That can be a great thing (competition) or it can be a terrible thing (fragmentation, slow update process). On the other hand, Apple's advantages are due to their uniformity and closed system. Unfortunately, the closed system really sucks (especially for me). I personally think Android is a great platform and anybody who has some sort of a technical background will really appreciate all the extra things you can do on it.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 01:19 PM) http://www.motorola.com/us/consumers/DROID...d=mobile-phones Also, I do love my iPod. I just am the one person in the world who, when I have a problem with one, the Apple Store hates apparently. There's a difference between a droid Razr and just a Razr. Droid = Verizon branding.
  22. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 01:11 PM) I hate the world. I voted 75 goddamn times for them and nothing? f*** Fielder. Fatman sucks. Konerko's wOBA is 80 points higher while not sucking as much in the field. People puzzle me. The majority of baseball fans are stupid.
  23. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 11:47 PM) The Cubs have a vast and storied history with their center fielders of the future. Like Felix Pie, Corey Patterson, Brett Jackson, etc...
  24. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 01:08 AM) Yikes! Caption this photo? That picture looks so out of whack. Is Sale really THAT skinny? Let's hope his metabolism slows down soon. Jeebus.

QUOTE (Papa Tru @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 11:26 AM) No s*** kid. I was talking about iPhone in comparison to a regular cell phone, not every phone. It's 2012, regular cell phones are basically smart phones. Why would you even bother to compare a Motrola Razr with an iPhone? Totally different era.
