  1. Garcon to Washington. So...who's Andrew Luck going to be throwing to this year? lol
  2. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 04:11 PM) Trade Gibson, Asik, Butler, Watson and Charlotte's #1 for Monta Ellis. Warriors want more.
  3. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 04:11 PM) So, who has a PG they are willing to part with and need a PF? Denver has a boatload of guards and looks like they need an actual PF so Nene can move back to the 5 full-time. But I don't think Andre Miller will change the Lakers' minds. Maybe the Bulls can try for Brandon Jennings...? Milwaukee wants to deal.
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 04:02 PM) http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story/_/id/...ers-sources-say KC Johnson tweeted Lakers don't want Boozer. If such a trade were to happen, it'd have to be a 3-way deal. Maybe we can entice the Rockets with the Boozer + Asik + Watson package for Lowry and Scola. Unlikely, but hey, worth a try right?
  5. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 03:46 PM) Sources in Houston confirm Bears are not in the running for Mario Williams. Oh well... It was probably never realistic anyway. Peppers and Williams would eat QBs alive. That's be way too unfair anyways. Haha.
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 03:50 PM) PER says Ricky Rubio is the 33rd best... point guard in the NBA. PER is mostly bunk. He probably is the 33rd best point guard at shooting the ball though.
  7. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 03:47 PM) Jason Campbell could be the next backup QB of the Bears. I'm starting to really like Phil Emery. He's making REAL moves!
  8. QUOTE (Reddy @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 10:55 AM) Really? Spring Training? good riddance. Fire. Passion. Swagger.
  9. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 03:41 PM) Going by the PER metric, Bulls are giving up quite a bit there. Boozer's not really a 20 PER player. And Watson sure as hell isn't a 17 PER player.
  10. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) I want me some Pau. But I don't see how Watson & Boozer plus parts work but I'd endorse it. Pau is a stud. Eh, he's had a subpar year by his standards. Boozer's actually been more efficient than Gasol this season in terms of shooting. But still, its f***in' Pau Gasol. Gasol and Noah down low would kick major ass.
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) To elaborate, Asik, Watson, Boozer in a deal for Pau is being thrown around. OMG, this would be so so so so so so awesome. There's little chance of the Bulls keeping Omer after this year anyways. As long as Pau doesn't choke in the playoffs like he did last year, we finally have a low scoring big man that we desperately needed last year in the playoffs.

    QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 12:17 AM) Did you go for the $70 "double-feature" deal for the PS3/Vita? Yeah, I got both for $70.
  13. QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 08:27 PM) Why would the Bulls make the Celtics trade? That's just pure stupidity I think. Seriously, why would the Bulls take on Pierce and Garnett for Boozer, Deng, and Asik? I know Boozer's a declining player, but Garnett and Pierce are declining even faster. Garnett is an expiring, but I honestly don't see how that trade helps the team.
  14. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 10:14 PM) Butler looked for the first time like he deserved to be out there. Loved it He needs to start playing. We have very little depth at SG/SF without Deng..
  15. QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 10:02 PM) Hard hat and lunch pail Gibson. If only he would start making free throws again... Taj used to shoot FTs at 70%, what the hell happened to that?

I got the Vita today. The Show on it is kind of underwhelming after you've played the PS3 version. Still pretty damn good, but the frame rate and visuals are sorta eh. Portions of the game don't look all that different than the PSP versions (maybe I just have high standards or I just forgot what a PSP game looked like).

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 9, 2012 -> 02:33 PM) I cannot experss how much the experience increases in The Show when you add all your custom sounds. Player walk-up music, Thunderstruck to start the game, Nancy Faust's "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" playing randomly throughout the game and after losses. Let's Go-Go White Sox after the game ends. I added CSN music for between innings. After a "k" the stadium plays hawk saying "HE GAWN". It's a perfect experience. Someone over at OS uploaded a ton of random team specific stuff too. I'm excited for that first game against Texas, and to give up a bomb, to hear the Natural music in the background. Anyway, can't wait to play more tonight. They made Sale a beast in that game. You wanna share these with me? lol

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 9, 2012 -> 11:47 PM) Wow. The Show has everyone wearing 42 in a Sunday game. Wow. Wow. I also saw the sweat stains on Adam Kennedy's cap since it was a pretty hot day. The amount of detail in this game is incredible.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 11:51 AM) MLB 12 is nuts. It's so incredible. Stephen Strasburg is a beast in that game. They actually made Chris Sale really legit, too, which I did not expect. Man, the Sox suck. I'll either have to do a draft or get trade crazy. Right now I'm just enjoying the RTTS, which is vastly improved. The skills they have you run through actually teach you ball recognition, and the points feedback is much better and doesn't crush you for good at bats just because you didn't get a hit. 11/10. I got 13 Ks with Sale in my first game. My Vita's getting here on Tuesday. Can't wait to take MLB 12 on the go with me.
  20. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 11:01 PM) Korver had 6 wide open 3 pointers and missed them all. ALL OF THEM. Pathetic. He should feel bad. He's a streaky player, that's how a lot of three point shooters are.
  21. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 09:42 PM) The dude doing the T and the Joakim Noah dance afterwards is hilarious.
  22. QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 7, 2012 -> 11:42 PM) I didn't post it because of anything that happened tonight (or anything that the Bulls have ever done). You shouldn't presume things, especially since I wasn't even replying to a comment that was about the Bulls game. Jesus christ, defensive much? It was posted because it's an interesting article on an interesting topic, and because the ridiculous mindset that LeBron is an awful person because he doesn't take the last shot for his team in every possible situation (which chw42 alluded to). It seemed pretty relevant to that. LeBron doesn't want that kind of pressure on him, so he either gives the ball to Wade or freaking Udonis Haslem. It's been this way since Boston beat Cleveland in the playoffs a few years back. If there's any single intangible in basketball that's of any importance, it's having the drive to put the team on your back the entire game, including the last possessions, which oh by the way, are some of the most important in the game. People don't just like closers for the hell of it, they do it because closing a basketball game isn't easy. This isn't about LeBron's basketball skills, it's about his mindset. He probably has twice the talent of any player in the NBA, but his drive and motivation to be THE guy just isn't there. He's his own worst enemy and I think we should all be glad that's the case, or else every other team in the NBA would be championship-less for the next five years.
  23. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Mar 7, 2012 -> 09:24 PM) You could see Rose frantically looking for Haslem to dish it off to, but alas had to take it himself. Hahaha. LeBron sat in the corner today while D-Wade took the last shots in their game against Atlanta.
  24. Jennings is DRose's b****. Rose did something similar to him in a game last year at the Bradley Center.
  25. Dunn looks to be in awesome shape, I'd say he has a chance to hit at least .240 this year.
