Yup the atmosphere is awesome. Easy to hang out before and after the games with all the bars around there. The stadium is really well integrated into the whole gas lamp district. You can take a glance into the stadium just walking around the neighborhood. It's a little like Wrigley, but actually well designed and modern. Also don't have to deal with annoying Cubs fans.

Petco is such a great park. I finally saw a game there last month and the vibes are amazing.

We actually did well against him the last time we faced him. We ran his pitch count up to 70 in 3 innings, but could not get the big hit to blow the game open. Then Castillo imploded and the offense stopped hitting.

Yeah that was probably one of the only times he's hit a home run that he did not pull. It was also a pretty good pitch.

I loved our approach on offense. It's gonna be tough against Brown, but if they are patient like they were today, good things will happen.

I actually think the Sox bullpen being used like this all year benefits us (assuming they're not all fatigued to hell). You saw Mattingly trying to use Duran for 2 innings and it totally backfired on him. Because he was a 1 inning pitcher all year. Our guys being used to these situations is a big advantage. We've basically been using our relievers like it's the playoffs all year, so this is nothing new to them.

The Astros don't either. They're basically relying on Brown to shut us down for 7.
