Rodon is on the team. That’s 5 starters. 8 relievers easily. If Folty struggles, he’s out of options. Cant be sent down. It’s just not realistic on a big league deal. Not here.

They couldn't though really. He can't be optioned. Who would be on the roster instead of?

Probably still starting I'd imagine. I think Bilous is too but we put him with relievers. Probably in Winston-Salem. Isaiah Carranza is interesting as well

Well I don't think any of us believe that Yermin can actually play catcher in the big leagues. He won't be in our top 30. It's tough to rank 27-year-old DH's

This is a super interesting list packed with info. We aren't including Collins, Heuer or Foster at FutureSox. BA disregarded the 45 days on an active roster portion apparently and they're the only ones that have done that.

I just don’t think you can trade guys like that when the owner refuses to spend $$. I think Kelley will have more value a year from now and he has a lot right now. They aren’t trading Crochet, Kopech or Vaughn. I’ve said that every week it seems

Which prospects? They don't have any prospects to trade right now. NO minor league season killed their system and they didn't share data for whatever reason. I'm glad they kept mostly everyone. They'll have ammo for the deadline.

I disagree with this part. Way different sports. You can't win a title in the NBA without the best players and in the NFL in most cases, you have to have an awesome QB. Baseball isn't like that. The worst team can go on a heater for 3 weeks and win the whole thing. I understand the random variance argument. I just thin it's better for the long-term health of the sport that more teams are trying to win and expanded playoffs accomplishes that.

Is there a way to have 7 playoff teams and give the top 3 byes? Then they’re all rewarded. 4v7 and 5v6. Then the winners of those face each other to see who plays the 1 seed. How long would 1-3 need to sit on this scenario?
