  1. Wright is struggling with his control, let's make him pay!
  2. Props to raBBit & Y2Jimmy on this. They clearly hinted this was coming.
  3. Tremendous news! Would love to Erik Johnson step up and just be a solid #5.
  4. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 3, 2016 -> 01:44 AM) Switching from Hawk to Bennetti is like going from your old faithful dog with his bad eyesight and rickety joints and even more rickety bowels to a new puppy. Puppy's are cute and all but I grew up with that damn old mutt. And actually being able to switch between the two has been nice. I've been eager to hear a new voice for a while, but I still love Hawk in smaller doses. I'll enjoy this setup while it lasts, because I'm sure Bennetti will be taking over full time in the near future. This season could be a nice sendoff for Hawk if the team can keep it up.
  5. I think Melky deserves some love too. Guy has been fantastic at the plate this year and even his defense been solid. His rebound is a huge reason we're sitting 10 games above .500 in early May.
  6. Big f***ing game. Probably our best pitching matchup of the series, so Quintana needs bring it tonight and shut these f***ers down! Go Sox!!!
  7. I'd go with Eaton. His defense in RF has been nothing short of outstanding and it's played a major role in changing the entire complexion of the team. Sale & Quintana are both close seconds.
  8. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ May 1, 2016 -> 01:55 PM) Frazier hit on hand Are they taking him out? How bad does it look?
  9. Let's beat these f***s today and come home 10 over .500! Go Sox!!
  10. Biggest win of the season IMO. Did not want to be down 0-3 in a series even with Chris going tomorrow.
  11. Sorry, I don't rally care if people judge me for this, but I hope like f*** Britton is injured.
  12. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Apr 30, 2016 -> 09:05 AM) The risk to the clubhouse is nowhere near worth whatever benefit AJ would bring. And as said above, he was jettisoned quickly after Ventura took over. There were definitely some rumors of bad blood between Robin & A.J.
  13. The Sox aren't stupid. Danks was already walking a tight rope with his diminished stuff and average-at-best command. Now that his stuff has further diminished, there's really no hope for success. Unless the velocity comes back and comes back soon, the Sox will make a change in the near future. At bare minimum, they'll put him on the DL and give some of the AAA guys an opportunity. Also, Robin is saying all the things a good manager should say when it comes to a high-character, long-tenured veteran. Ripping a guy like Danks to the media wouldn't go over well in the clubhouse. It's up to Rick & KW to play bad cop and make a change.
