Zavala HBP. Legend reaches on a dropped third strike. Sosa three run blast. Make it happen baseball gods!

Yeah, throw in the Tony factor and we’re really in trouble.

That being said, hopefully Hahn is watching this game to understand why it never made sense to trot out two 1B in the outfield.

I still remember Carlos Lee hitting a HR in his first major league at-bat. Would be awesome for Sosa to do the same.

This season has been brutal to watch, but I take a tiny bit of semblance over the people who argue managers don’t matter being wrong. This team is tied for the division lead with any competent manager despite all the injuries. It’s almost incomprehensible how bad Tony has been this year.

Hard to string to together runs when you only have five major league hitters in your lineup.

I’ve never seen a baseball club with a team-wide outbreak of “sore legs” before

Lenyn Sosa joins the White Sox; 2 years later, Banana Ball to Chicago

LH Bat Trade Options
I really would love to know how teams view Sosa. Montgomery & Colas are more or less untouchables IMO, but Lenyn is putting up some insane numbers in AA at a fairly young age. He lacks a track like this (I know he’s adjusted well after slow starts, but nothing like this), so I’d assume there would be a general skepticism to him by scouts. But damn, it would be awesome if the Rays liked him a lot and we could package him and a few other top 10 guys for Lowe. Probably a complete pipe dream though.

Other than the IL perhaps? In all honesty, we should probably plan on one of Pollock or Eloy missing considerable time post trade deadline.

The Yankees may want to use the payroll savings to address other needs.

LH Bat Trade Options
I could be wrong, but I thought the concern with Conforto is he might not be able to play the OF this year when he returns from injury. If so, he’s much less of an option IMO.

Still a quality hitter against RHP and historically has been a really good defensive RF. Hard to call him “worthless” if used appropriately.

LH Bat Trade Options
I really don’t think you can ignore the problem though if a 2B is unattainable as we really don’t have a legit RF at the moment but rather a LF and two DHs who happen to play the OF more than they should.
