  1. For god’s sake can we stop using Fangraphs as the end all be all and use some critical thinking. It’s 35 degrees and we’ve seen subpar velocity games in the past from Lopez in similar conditions. There is absolutely zero reason to panic that he suddenly lost the velocity on fastball.
  2. Dude, it’s one fucking start, stop making ridiculous conclusions off of it.
  3. What do you mean? If Lopez is injured, I’ll probably have to take a few months off from White Aox baseball.
  4. Lol...very true. That being said, GarPax has put together playoff teams, wheras Hahn is still looking for his first 3rd place finish in 7 years. At some point, the blame should start being directed at Hahn, especially if the first wave of talent fails.
  5. As soon as Hahn fires members of the coaching staff, he puts the target of accountability on his own back. Right now he still has Ricky & staff as his scapegoat if the young guys fail to take that next step in their development.
  6. I have seen little league teams make harder contact than the White Sox today.
  7. Which is part of the reason I think our coaching staff may just suck a fat you know what. I’ve been a big Cooper fan for years, but I really think the game may have passed him by. No idea how Steverson still has job. And our teams are pretty much consistently bad from a fundamentals perspective, which the manager should be accountable for.
  8. I was literally going to post that it seems like our advanced scouting sucks compared to every other team. Lopez seems to have no plan no there, while KC knows exactly how to attack our guys. And this seems to have been a problem for us for years.
  9. He struggled to miss bats because guys were just teeing up on his fastball. Until he can command the secondary pitches with some level of consistency that will not change.
  10. Lopez will be fine velocity wise, he just needs to be able to command his pitches. He’s missing all over the place today.
  11. Yeah, the fastball is a quality pitch but not when guys are just sitting on it. Got to use the breaking balls consistently to better set it up.
  12. It has and I’m pumped. He barely used it last year after it was his bread and butter breaking ball coming up in the Nationals system.
  13. Was that his curveball? If so, glad to see he isn’t completely abandoning for the slider.
  14. I’m assuming it’s just taking longer due to the cold.
  15. Oh shit, I thought Duffy was on the mound. So much for that Tim Anderson HR prediction.
