7/21 Games
By injuries did you mean “way too small. Outfielders will never respect him and play 7 infielders so his OPS will never be high enough and he doesn’t strike out or walk enough too small to function waste of a 4th pick, you need to get higher Ceiling at #4 even though the last 10 #4 picks have almost all amounted to complete shit, hold my beer while I go slap him around and teach him how to hit homers”?

I too think he should go back to WS and master it first

If you could pick one position player to add to the roster
Soto or Yelich for fuck’s sake.

Dylan Cease
Yea he’s calm too. Opposite of Carson Fulmer sweating so much the mound shows signs of erosion.

7/21 Games
Yeah it sure seems like he’s got a handle on being one of the better AA players

7/21- Sox at Rays, 12:10, NBCSC
Eh. Half the lineup is scrubs. I expect scrubs to scrub. I’m sure you sent the coaching staff a thank you for overachieving with scrubs the first half, especially with the pitching.

Is it just me or does Eloy have a cast on the opposite arm he was holding when he got injured?
-
Eloy going on IL
Yes. Nice post. There’s so much more to it than the simple thought of “don’t burn his service time in a meaningless couple of months”. There’s sooooooo much more to it than that.

Gerrit Cole - The Rebuild’s Fulcrum
To be fair, it can turn into $300M if he wins a few CYAs in a row

Gerrit Cole - The Rebuild’s Fulcrum
Well I feel like the Yankees and a few other teams can go 7/210 no problem. Why pick the Sox in that case?

7/20 Games
For real. Sounds like he probably sits 93-95 like Gio. That curve is sick. I wonder if his arm action is the same with it.

I had no idea he threw gas.

Eh, there’s just so many more layers to it than this. Everyone gets this. How do you balance: Club financial flexibility Necessary MLB seasoning Team chemistry PR and fan interest Employee morale Rewarding somebody when they earn something...or fallout from NOT rewarding the player How potential FA perceive your club based on the above. There are probably 100 more factors that go into it

7/19 Games
I wonder if he’s the best player in baseball

Luis Robert
Totally agree except I say burn the year of control, treat him like a human being, and talk again in a few years maybe. I want my pancakes now damnit

Sox @ Royals - 715pm CT
Flat-Earthers might be closer to correct than whoever is arguing that

Well let’s all just be happy we don’t have Machado and move on.

The rumors were (partially) true: Collins to AAA
What’s funny is that list is waaaaaay better than the results at #4, where people on here somehow claimed Madrigal wasn’t the type of talent you take at 4. Which is a theory based on who knows...maybe taint + testes= boobs? I dunno.

Mid-Year Top 10 Prospects
Those numbers are a bit crazy, but it’s not really doubling his power. It’s imagining him getting shit tons of doubles and triples in the majors from skill, not power. The people that are able to think about Madrigal outside of the box see Wes Welker leading the league in receptions, but not from jump balls like Randy Moss. Everyone else sees some dude who should have flamed out in d3 college.
