Sox are obviously slowing down his development. I can't help wondering if this actually hurts his development. He's probably 19. He has to play the game to improve.

Vaughn makes most of the plays at first base. Everyone has a miscue every now and then, even the exceptional first basemen. He hustles. He also hits into some bad luck, getting robbed more often than anyone else. That'll even out. When he hits, he hits the ball hard. Still learning.

He probably pitched deeper into games in Little League, Pony League, High School. Then the White Sox drafted him.
