  1. Vaughn makes most of the plays at first base. Everyone has a miscue every now and then, even the exceptional first basemen. He hustles. He also hits into some bad luck, getting robbed more often than anyone else. That'll even out. When he hits, he hits the ball hard. Still learning.

He probably pitched deeper into games in Little League, Pony League, High School. Then the White Sox drafted him.
  3. I also realized that. Sadly, a year from now this thread will still be getting regular comments, because Hahn will still be the GM.
  4. Then make do with a 12 man staff.

Has Sox Talk ever been sued by one these sports services?
  6. Why would they start Kopech first game after the break? All pitchers are rested. Sorry if someone else already asked this.
  7. Not bad. I haven't seen his name lately.
  8. Sometimes leadership just happens out of the blue. I remember when the Rockies were floundering, then Matt Holliday and Troy Tulowitzki appeared. Didn't take long.
  9. And, they learn that behavior from their mothers.
  10. They learn that behavior from their mothers.
  11. Back to Day 1. Crews to Nats. His agent is Boras. How much overslot will it be?
  12. Yes, he was. C'mon, Quin. That was a childish retort. You can do better.
  13. That swing wasn't awkward. Just extremely level, keeping the bat in the hitting zone longer, thus more contact.
  14. He has good hands.
  15. We need another shortstop prospect. Montgomery, Popeye, Sosa, Burrowes..
  16. Cards only had one walk; Sox had 4, I believe, plus Sox did not bat in the 9th inning. Other than that, your point is valid.
  17. Bummer's trade value is less than zero.
  18. Chicago White Sox, author of Blow it the F up and Fire Hahn.

Okay, lets name them. Montgomery, Schultz, Ramos, Burke, Popeye, Sosa. Help me, I'm struggling.
  20. Kelly throws a high breaking ball for a strike, and I could read Vladies mind. Throw me another one of those. Kelly did. Easy home run.
  21. He hustled. He got off to a horrible start caused by injury in ST, never recovered, but finished with decent numbers.
  22. Do you think he mis-represented anything on his resume'?
