QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 11:27 PM) Knicks in the long run will be better because this will attract either CP3 or DWill IMO but I read an article on Gallinari vs. Melo and if you pretty much double Danilo's shots per game, he would score just as much if not more than Melo They won't have cap for DWill or CP3 unless they take huge paycuts.

Knicks are doomed. Apparently Gallo and Felton are gonna be swung to NJ. I'd assume they'd get Harris back and something else. Minnesota wins. Denver wins. New Jersey wins. Chicago can swipe a SG from Denver and win. New York...

QUOTE (danman31 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 09:54 PM) Chauncey, Melo, Amare. Worth fearing despite no supporting cast? Not at all. The Knicks now have four good players Chauncey Fields Melo Amare Then nothing. Of those players, Fields seems like he has decent defense. Teams with strong defensive presence (Bulls, Celtics, Heat, Magic) will be able to shut down one of Melo and Amare and let the other get his. Two of their big 3pt threats are now gone. Just like the Magic trade, this makes them slightly better overall, but a much nicer matchup for the Bulls.

So apparently Melo deal is imminent to Knicks. Here's hoping they gut that team for him.

But can we really beat this epitome of studlieness?
-
Wait, I thought it was team specific. Then it's awesome. Watching every single MLB game though, nah. That's pretty damn horrifying.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 10:55 PM) One of the sportscenter anchors said it best when he said that it appears that Wade almost gets hurt in every game. That asshole is always limping around. Surprised they didn't have to roll him out of the arena on a wheelchair. Oh well. If he's not healthy Thursday, I won't shed a tear.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 09:49 PM) For schnitz and griddles Buehrle's FIRST start of the year (so not technically opening day, but I'm pretty sure his only non-opening day start was 2006) 2002 - 6 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 5 K (W) 2003 - 7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 1 K (L) 2004 - 6.2 IP, 8 H, 3 R (2 ER), 1 BB, 1 K (ND, Sox lost) 2005 - 8 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K (W) 2006 - 4 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 1 K (rain-delay halfway through, hence the lack of innings...Sox won) 2007 - 1.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 1 K (ND, Sox won) 2008 - 1.2 IP, 7 H, 7 R, 1 BB, 1 K (ND, Sox lost) 2009 - 5 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 3 K (ND, Sox won) 2010 - 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K (W) Totals - 46.2 IP, 41 H, 19 R (18 ER), 14 BB, 21 K Average - 5.1 IP, 4.5 H, 2 R, 1.6 BB, 2.3 K Peripherals - 3.47 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 2.7 BB/9, 4 K/9 I would say that the notion that Buehrle has been a bad opening day starter is way overblown. In fact, I would argue that, outside of 2 starts, he's been exceptional on Opening Day. And of those two, he was hurt in one of them.

Wade could be hurt. Rondo passes with .8 seconds left.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 06:50 PM) Not sure where the thread I previously made for this went, but it's not on the 3 pages in SLAM, and I can't find an archive of it. Anyway..... Rumor has it the demo will be released this week. I can't remember if they update the store on Tuesdays or Thursdays, but either way, I'm pumped. Thursdays. I also, am pumped.

LeBron had one of the worst dances I've ever seen.

QUOTE (flavum @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 04:55 PM) Word is Viciedo dropped more weight. Hopefully this will bode well for him in the outfield. Like.

QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 04:29 PM) I remember reading that Nancy Faust would be getting replaced. Any word on if this happened? I kinda have this feeling it won't, and it'll just be sound effects and loud noises going forward. I know Boyer was looking for a new one. Sad if he can't find someone.

Crede was awesome.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) I'm not sure he'd be all that good. His problem would be that he can't palm the ball. Plus, his "Ball behind my head, elbows bent, while the teams other five plays stare" wouldn't work in a dunk contest. Thank God Jennings wasn't there.

QUOTE (whitesox901 @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 01:22 AM) LOL. I love this picture of Ozzie. Its just needs a funny text in there. "What the f*** is that Adam Dunn? Keep the ball in the park."
-
DeRozan, Ibaka, and McGee got beat by Griffin hype. DeRozan has some of the sickest dunks I've seen, Ibaka's FT line one was amazing, and McGee dunked two damn balls at the same time.
-
Wow. Big fail by Blake with seven tries.
