  1. https://chicago.suntimes.com/2016/6/24/18427262/the-white-sox-were-scared-off-of-starling-marte-because-of-gun-incident You can't really blame the scout in this instance, it's just a wild story.
  2. Nothing will ever top the Starling Marte story.
  3. I see that you're quite amped
  4. I feel like Gonzalez is about to succeed just to spite this thread, Burger style.
  5. Some sweet defensive highlights:
  6. I'd much rather they load up on shortstops instead of first baseman.
  7. Tbh I have no idea about him, I was just excited for Teel + I tend to enjoy Shirley's tendency to, as @Y2Jimmy0 puts it, go "big game hunting." So seeing that he's got real, real low grades as a runner at shortstop was a real deflation.
  8. This is entirely @DirtySox's fault.
  9. 30 grade runner at shortstop sure is something
  10. Sorry Benintendi, Zach gets LF now.

Oh, and Comas is one lanky dude:

My analysis of tonight's homeruns: Ramos is coming for that third base job. Promote him again. Billy found power. Promote him now. Sox will win the World Series with the new powered up Billy.
  13. So like, did a Cubs fan do unspeakable things over the off-season or something?
  14. Right but this is strictly for drafting purposes.
  15. This is the draft analysis I need. Do we go the Schultz or Camilletti route?
  16. Yeah, Jerry's the catalyst for Tatis being gone and Machado not getting across the finish line. Hahn still executed (or failed to) those deals and knows Jerry's restrictions, so there's plenty of blame to go around.
  17. I think Tatis was thrown in to get the Padres to pick up a large chunk of Shields' contract.
  18. I remember when there was some rumor of Bummer and Laz Rivera to the Dodgers for like...Pederson? sigh
  19. Lynn pitching with a purpose: he wants off the team.
  20. While I'm not gonna disagree on the scouting report for the Sox being exactly what you're saying, we're literally seeing Luis Robert go from "slider him to death" to "baseball god"
