  1. Everyone knows that you do rehab stints at the MLB level. Incredibly small sample size, but he was doing well in the WBC and the beginning of the season until Alberto punched his knee backwards. It's so frustrating that they insist on rushing guys back.
  2. Ump made a call so bad EE called a timeout.
  3. Only acquire players with Robert in their name.
  4. Time for the Sox to tie it up only to lose in extras.
  5. Maybe the Ohtani recruitment plan is he'll have fond memories associated with the White Sox?
  6. Ohtani is so fucking amazing.
  7. Well yeah, go look at his other thread titles. He always cites the publications / authors.
  8. Just for kicks, I scrolled through 5 pages of this board and all direct quotes were attributed to who said them, be they reporters, players or managers. Anytime a site was referred (mainly MLB.com power rankings), that's who was attributed. So, keeping going off, but it's a losing battle.
  9. "Standard formatting" I write headlines as part of my day job. Quotes are when you're attributing to someone, homie.
  10. My softball teammate is a Reds fan and he said Elly is gonna make $300M in his career and I had PTSD from projecting Eloy, Moncada and Robert.
  11. Let's f*** around and go 7-0. Get to .500. Then fall back again.
  12. "Spend lots of "safe" money but never upon pain of death spend Star money, even if they'd take it"
  13. The Sox and Bulls front offices operate the same way. 1. Make plan 2. Sell fanbase on plan 3. Plan begins to have mild success, get on your own supply. 4. If plan begins to falter, do nothing to adjust. Continuity/believing in your guys or something 5. Mediocrity. 6. Sell merch because they have two of the best brands in sports thanks to Jordan and hip-hop.
  14. I like that Caulfield added quotes to make it seem like TA said this
  15. Assuming you mean de la Cruz, the Sox are notorious for rushing prospects?
  16. Padres have spent $6,642,805 per win. Sox have spent $5,423,207 per win. Is JerryBall more cost efficient than PrellerBall? Inspired by this Reddit post, which obviously shows that the Rays and Orioles are getting the most bang for their buk.
