Knights fire Wes Helms
When we said fire the manager this is not what we meant. Also, this makes me feel like something awful is happening down in Charlotte.

2021-22 NBA Thread
I'd try to use the TPE for Thybulle, just because I want to use Coby in an Ayton S&T. Gimme Vuc/Coby+ for Ayton, TPE for Thybulle, then use every other resource imaginable on shooters. Obviously, the Suns and 76ers will accept this. Lavar also said he'd go to the Lakers ... where'd be the third string. In Portland, he's a bigger second string.

Baseball America Top 30 (Actually, 40)
The hype levels would be off the charts if Vera is up before Abreu retires and Grandal leaves the team.

Baseball America Top 30 (Actually, 40)
I made that post on April 15th and absolutely nowhere does it say "starting day lineup." A one day line up. Why are you getting so bent out of shape for what was a suggested gimmick lineup over a month ago when we actually had good vibes about the team?

I said a one day lineup, but he could take Eloy's spot. It's really an either/or. Unless Ramos sprints like a madman through the minors, then sorry boys. 8 Cubans + TA.

5/19 Games
Yeah, I've been obviously banging the Yolbert drum for a hot minute, but that's only because I expect him to solid, which this lineup sorely needs. That's probably why Chuck isn't over the moon, because instead of dreaming of Mr. 3000, Gold Glove Nick Madrigal, it's just a guy who fills the need instead of potential star.

Also, @bmags, how have we never had a discussion about that beautiful center field dragon???

5/19 Games
On his panic episode, he said that "maybe in July" if they decide to move on from Harrison and started discussing options - he brought up Yolbert. Admitted that he doesn't watch him, so he was going purely off average, OBP, and OPS, but basically handwaved him as a non-option for the Sox due to lack of power. Wants them to trade for Brandon Drury from the Reds.

Hahn Merkin puff piece on LH outfielder, Rodon
I for one am shocked that White Sox employee Scott Merkin is writing something positive about the White Sox.

Think like an NL Manager and it's the bottom of the 10th in 2006 and it might start making sense. Maybe.

Carlos Rodon... What could the Sox gotten in trade?
The rebuilding 2018 Sox probably wanted to keep the young Rodon in hopes of him becoming 2021 Rodon. 2021, no way he was being traded. So...this comes down to, yes, he should have gotten the QO, which like, 80% of this board agrees with.

Grandal: 30/34 games I don't feel like going back and counting the days that Pollock and Harrison missed, but I know it was a significant chunk. Pollock: 20/34 Harrison: 23/34 Once you start counting eligible games, we've seen a lot of Big Energy. Considering how much we didn't see Vaughn early in the season and now (i.e., eligible games), yes, I will be annoyed about this.

5/17 Sox @ Royals Game 1 | 1:10PM CT
So, to be clear. Vaughn, Robert, Anderson, and Moncada all need rest frequently or something. Abreu, Grandal, Harrison, Pollock, and Garica need to play every game. The first group is young, contains probably your best four hitters at the moment and, in Robert and Vaughn's case, developing still. The second group is old, kinda sucks at the moment, and has dudes with injury concerns.
